For the first time watching, I'm a little confused. When I put the overcast stitch line, I pull threads after? It seems to me you would pull the fringe threads and then add a stitch line? It definitely looks like on the close up you stitched first then picked the thread...,thank you. Love your videos.

When you do rag quilts, why don’t you sew an X on each block to hold layers together before sewing the blocks???
