I think Blackstar is a super interesting leader considering he is one of the more background character types. He supported two awful dictators, was forgiven, became a dictator himself, was respected, he has a kill count of three ( though let’s be honest, that number is from the wiki so it is probably way underestimating his character), AND he appointed the leader who would destroy his clan. I feel like he has so many things going on and was the perfect pretty-evil-but-not-a-complete-serial-killer type leader born to lead Shadowclan. And his novella does not exist so just remember that when reading this comment. That book should die more times than heavystep and beetlewhisker.
