My granddaughter loves gymnastics& of Miss Simone, earlier this year, this sweet girl has been dealing with headaches& after 3 nights at Dornbecker Children Hospital. 2cat scans, 3 MRI’s& a battery of test, the amazing team of Dr.s still don’t have a clue. She had to take a break from gymnastics& it’s been tough. The time Simone took for herself, is everything she needed to hear! I applaud her, for the courage& bravery,Git took to focus on her health, has been the best of Role Models!!👑👏👏👏😎

her moves are so clean and graceful, varying speeds and power like a video game character. like when she leaps forward at 1:23 and seems to float spinning and rotating in the air as a perfectly straight diagonal line. She's so good at what she does, i'm so grateful we get to see her still out here doing the most!
Imagine you train your entire life and then find out you have to follow Simone Biles? Its like following Queen at the 1985 Live Aid concert. I have the utmost respect for any female gymnast on earth who has to compete against her. You are all winners to me just for showing up.

She is so amazing an athlete with incredible power, but this one thing drives me crazy! I watched a Chinese gymnast the other day, who is also amazing and who always had pointed toes when jumping. It’s just a cleaner and more refined look. Don’t get me wrong, I still watch Simone every chance I get and will continue to follow her career! I love her!

you have to consider her level of difficulty....she has a level 7 difficulty rating which is the highest in female gymnastics so losing 3 tenths of a point for 2 feet out of bounds or a tenth for 1 foot (she got 15.2 on night 1 I think) isn't going to make much of a dent.....
She was already ahead of everyone else in the event on Day one. Her skill and performance really shines threw! Even with small mistakes She still had enough points to maintain the lead. She is human and makes mistakes but She continued to dominate and won She deserved it.
Not to mention the fact that because she goes into the triple double with so much power that they've been having her slowing down her approach. She's practically walking into that tumbling run.
Wonderful skills...the best. Wish she would use different music or whatever that is. If she just wants percussion for her rhythm, I am sure there is some that sound better in a large building like that.
Pretty amazing that a human being can even do this. Just remarkable.
