👋 Who are we?
Hi there, we're Tom and Angel!
An adventurous couple from Canada who’ve always had a love for travel and the outdoors. So far, we’ve have travelled to 35 countries together!
Since moving from our hometown of Toronto to the beautiful west coast of British Columbia, we’ve been able to experience more of the outdoors than we ever have before. In October 2022, we decided to take the leap. We got on a one-way flight and started slow travelling full time while working our remote jobs.
Join us in our adventures as we live in different countries, seek authentic experiences, try new foods, and learn everything we can about this beautiful world we live in!
What do you all think, are you fans of the sweets or the livers? I think you know which we are!
Nice work guys.
Great vid, my home city, never heard of the Melbourner for the doughnuts. Im in my late 50's
Sounds like a good time to try something new? We highly recommend it ☺️
Great video! Always wanted to go to Australia it’s big on our list! Love all the food! Especially the sweets!!! Thanks guys! You guys are cute together like me and my wife! LETS GOOO!!!👍
Aww, thank you- glad you liked it!
Welcome to 'Marvellous (yes, Aussies spell it with two LLs ) Melbourne (which we lazily and roughly pronounce 'Melbn') situated on the Yarra (here we go again,
Y as in yellow -A as in apple- A at the end changes to U as in up ( which we do so with so many words). I was born in , live in and LOVE this beautiful and buzzy city full of many things to do and see. I'm thoroughly enjoying your professional-like video. Well done ! That last building, the Melbourne Exhibition Centre was where our first Australian Parliament sat and where Australia federated into a nation of states in 1901 and later, two extra territories. The Federal Parliament is now situated in Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory. You'll come across many aboriginal/first nations words like Yarra, Canberra, damper (damp-u) in our vernacular and much slang as well and swearing ! Melbourne has over 200 ethnicities living here. Aussies( pronounced, 'Ozzies') are a friendly, happy, casual, approachable people so look-out to make friends/ 'mates'. I'm looking forward to your next video.
PS If you want to get a really good gander/look at the city and Port Phillip Bay which it wraps around, do a few' blockies'/ circuits on the Westgate Bridge which is toll free. Get on, go to the end, get off at the end exit, loop under the bridge and get on the entrance to the other side (lanes) of the bridge. Repeat. Choose a sunny day for great views. Also the Eureka Tower Skydeck is a MUST for high and long distance, wonderful panoramic 360 degree views also on a sunny day. Enjoy !
PS do not know WHY some innocent words were crossed out ?!? I didn't do it !
Very cool, we got to go to St. Kilda, GOR, and Port Philip! What an amazing place!
You were very brave to try the croc and emu. I’m Aussie and have never tried them. You haven’t convinced me that I should!
Thank you! I definitely believe in trying at least * two * bites before judging. The emu tasted like any other liver and I would have the crocodile again. If you can handle liver and are good with fishy sushi, you should give it a go!
We tried crocodile at Kakadu barbequed by an indigenous chef. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender and delicious !
@@barnowl.Sounds amazing, I'd try it again, no problem!
What year is your jeep? I just bought a 2020 jeep renegade!
2016 :)
Correct best Donuts in the world at the QV Market :)
I still think about them to this day... 🤤
Popcorn croc and emu liver...no, thank you! 🤮🤣🤣
The crock was actually pretty good!
