The moment Pete killed Adam from full life instead of Steve I knew the game would be over, Muldrotha is the kind of commander that you kill on sight or suffer from the recursion.
When Chaos Warp revealed Pattern of Rebirth, it should have been put into play enchanting an opponent's creature. There's no 'may' there. Great game, though. Everyone got to do their thing. It wasn't a 'non-game' for anyone due to flood, screw or shenanigansfrom an opponent. It also helps that I really like all 4 commanders played here. I want to build a Muldrotha deck, but I already have a Sultai deck and another would just delay me from completing the Rainbow Challenge.
Did Steve have no hand when he popped "Steve"? Because he was supposed to have taken damage from Vicious Shadows equal to the number of cards in his hand every time a creature died... unless John forgot about the triggers.
At 12:10 it does look like he's mostly empty handed. Makes sense with all the dredging. Shadows is a really strong card, so I'm surprised it didn't come up.
@@MTGMuddstah But he had walk the aeons at least in hand, since he didn't draw between Steve dieing and him playing it. it was only one, but fell really weird.

MTG Muddstah ah didn't think of that.
god Muldrofa makes my karador deck look like a chump
Scumbag Steve not just saying "yeah, this is an infinite" and instead playing it out.
Lol, jk, it was a fun video
But that's the best way to go about it lmao
how awesome will be if Sam Riegal make one intro with Nott voice hm
Oh yeah yeah
That was one of the worst games I've ever seen concerning threat assessment, sequencing and tutor choices.
You're the worst game!
Agreed
yeah...why get Bane of Progress? Blood Moon was super beneficial for Yisan. Why not just sac the wall, get Craterhoof and stomp the players blocked by Blood Moon. The only threat from Ruric Thar was him finding Primal Surge basically
Main phase Entomb and doing nothing with the target that turn ha ha.
Yisan? Ruh-Roh, Raggy!
Why didn't I know that Pattern of Rebirth was a thing until just now?? There's no justice in the world lol
This video made "Pattern of Rebirth" look GODLY!! Thanks for showing us a great matchup!! : ]
I would like to point out that Ruric thars effect is commander damage
Commander damage is exclusively linked to combat damage.
@@MTGMuddstah wait really?? Purphoros's effect isn't commander damage?
mtgcommander.com/rules.php
Play Rule #11: "If a player has been dealt 21 points of combat damage by a particular Commander during the game, that player loses a game."
So, yep! Even Purphoro's damage from creatures entering doesn't count as commander damage.
This Steve on Steve violence disgusted me. One like is one more Steve saved.
Great content, but when will you start pronouncing all the cards right? Like Skewra Tribe Elder is Sakura, like from Naruto. And so on.
Never.
That Adam needs more EVIL!
That ruric thar deck needed more stax pieces. You make him hatebear and stax and he’s going to dominate a lot against non creature decks. Def would have hurt muldrotha and windgrace a lot more with that dredging nonsense
Yisan now banned as a commander whoops
Damn, just had to play the blood moon, huh?
I play all basics, its pretty solid some of the time lol
Ruric thar is prison magic lmao
Ugh why didn't Muldrotha die...that commander is too busted. Should never be on the table.
