honestly ad 5:32 your hand was great. I didnt watch the rest of this duel yet but what I would do is ss shthanna get monk then special the lvl 7 normal the 1 summon grandmaster search the lvl 6 (forgot everyone name) then use the lvl 7 from grave to bounce the back row (this is fine even if its negated by called by cause we need it banished) use the lvl 1 effect bounce
back a banished wyrm to hand then cook. I've used swordsoul since released and this scenario happens alot and from experience this is the best play

Snake eyes plays through every hand trap in the game even if you manage to hit them with every single one in a single hand except shifter but only certain decks can play shifter. They seriously made a very annoying deck….
They can feel very tough to counter sometimes for sure

I started to use Orochi and eater of millions apart from pot of desires.
If you end turn 1 on Chengying with either Blackout on the field or Orochi in hand you have a free removal that is not bound to Chixiaos negate. Super unexpected and fun way to play the deck. I would love to see the combo in one of your videos :)
Have you thought about using lullaby of the obedience in order to get a free ash either on the hand or field which results in your opponent having an ash less and you get a negate through the hand trap or synchro summon by tributing the ash on field

What's good about swordsoul is that you can mix it with other engines, you can go with kashtira swordsoul, super heavy swordsoul, basically if there's an engine that doesn't need normal summon . I play it with super heavy samurai and i also added a little mannadium engine 😂 i don't recommend it cus you wont be able to play handtraps bus it is fun as hell
I have been playing with an SHS build and have made vids in the past on Kash versions, its super fun to toy around with

Best option at that point was crowing whatever he arrivaled. Hitting a ball early (when he stardust) would have also hurt, he still could have bystialed, but it would have been at the end of his combo when the elf came out. Still would have needed to break through a Baronne + Pater with no targeting, but that’s only 1 negate public

Ringo is very high-roll. It only really has teeth in Best of 3 and even then; it loses harder to Maxx "C" than just the box standard Swordsoul Tenyi.

First duel you shoulda normaled into monk then into shaman using grandmaster then you could discard dd crow and bring back master and he would have had his negate right ?
Nope because Shamans effect locks you into only using TENYI monster effects for the rest of the turn

I mean I guess, but one on field monster negate is literally basically nothing to snake eyes, dd crow is a better interruption against snake eyes. Plus if one of the backrows is a called by or an imperm, you'd be trading a grandmaster for a shaman
