tbh I would say the Despia player actually made quite a few misplay which leads to him losing or he should be fine, but great play by this guy nevertheless.
halqdon combo in swordsoul tenyi is just deskbot001 and 2 extra deck slots. No reason not to add and is a good extender if all your plays get interrupted
@@SkyFireYZ more consistent playing olion as well. Go into TG librarian for more draws and Cupid pitch to borreload for another negate on top of baronne. Even if that gets disrupted you can still have chixiao and baronne to fall back on if your opening hand has ecclesia, MoYe, or Taia to normal summon.
@@SkyFireYZ The cost of the combo/engine isn’t what turns me and others away from using it. We simply view it as a degenerate way to play the deck and would prefer not to use it. Believe it or not, not everyone wants to play like it’s the finals of a grand tourney.

Protos is really really good. Even as just a random topdeck, I think protos is worth playing. Its amazing at boardbreaking, literally ftks pk and despia, and really good to get your chengying pretty big.
Yeah, Protos is easily the best card in the deck. If you go against Despia or Dragon Link and you resolve Protos by blind calling DARK, you basically win. Sure, it's match-up dependant but it's too good to be left out
damnnn your combos are so good. definitely one of my top 3 yugi tubers. I have been playing sword soul for a good 4-5 seasons now and I have still learned like 3 new combos after your plays. keep them coming. 🙏🏾
additional level 6, but its not often being used, sometime you can make yazi with free summon from tenyi, then tribute it, to summon Auspice Chunjun, Auspice Chunjun + tenyi level 1 tuner : yazi
Chunjun can also help dodge target negate especially if the opp use imperm, veiler or any target negate on either moye or taia when u use their effect on field.
Good vid. I haven’t seen many playing sacred summit - cool combo. You should try out Dragon Link now that we have Borrelend. The deck should be at or near top tier now but I haven’t seen many talking about it

branded despia and swordsoul tenyi is really good arc type, both didn't need adventure engine or DPE engine and both could really biting each other in their arc type in not boring way.
yeah the decks are booth entertaining, even to watch, dunno why poeple are complaining about the branded despia, its entartaining and u can definitely play around it with a good deck and good skill, i find floowandereeze much more annoying with the boring combos and they pretty much always do teh same
How about putting another slide when making videos about meta relevant decks with tips from both points of view: when playing the deck what to watch out for/play around and on how to play against it/what to tech in decks?
I've been running swordsoul based off Hex Lex's build since swordsoul came out but after one duel with this build I can already say I vastly prefer this setup with sacred summit. I finally can see a consistent route into combos that've eluded me this whole time.
I'm maining 3 Retaliating C in my Sword Soul deck atm since ladder is full of Branded Despia decks atm and when their materials are banished, their follow up plays are usually easy to deal with. It also synergizes great with Cheng when going first.
Man, once you keep play swordsoul for long time, you can always make uncommon route like how you do baxia with adhara + lvl 1 baxia and lvl 6 longyuan Insane observation you got there
yup i have no idea why people keep saying swordsoul is braindead deck, basic combos are easy but there are so many new routes that you have to think to get out of sticky situtations, its way more skill based deck than drytron live twin etc

I thought you were going to use summit to revive a level 6 (didn't know if you still had one in grave but if you did) and used the baxia on field that is level 1 plus it to go into yazi or something.
Why did the numeron Player scoop st 5:22? He could have summoned the one numeron Monster, that banishes itself and all his own Monster and all of yours. Or did i miss anything?
Without the halq/don line, your typical swordsoul deck is not that bad to play around, you must be suffering from skill issue or hate the deck too much to see that

(Not consistently) but I've beaten every meta strategy with old-school decks just to prove they can still beat them and their overrated. Btw their is a fine line between competitive and decks with broken combos that should be hit on the banlist.
Why not run Ecclasia at 3 copies she's sooooo good, she literally swaps herself out for another SS, can special summon herself on turn 2 when ur opponent has monsters on board, she can be used as a synchro summon with a SS monster brought back from grave with Sacred summit and one of the best things of all she can chain her swap to search out a SS monster and it removes her from field and resolves in the GY. Oh I guess you're not using Halq in this deck but she can be used as a turner to summon Halq.

Qixing Lingyuan does what Dragite does except better. Imo Dragite is not needed in most Swordsoul Tenyi builds and would often be replaced by Longyuan because of the fact that he’s two interruptions built into one plus burn
I make it a point to summon Baronne early if it’s possible or make Baronne on the 5th summon. I also play HalqDon combo mainly to pivot my plays if I opened poorly or as a backup in case I do get Nibbed
The archetype of "Swordsouls" r very fucking filthy cuz instead of their dirty effects of special summoning "Token Tuners" y not to special summon "Tokens" from 2800-3000 attack and 1000-3000 defense if for all the attack and defense of the of the special summoned "Synchro Monsters" r that.

LMAO the deck isn't even comparable against the top tiers we have now. Swordsoul is honestly purely balance rn. the reason it's OP is cuz Baron exists and it's soo generic unlike it's level 8 counterpart. same as how Virtual world is only OP because of VFD. Compare this deck to Despia and it's like a rouge deck at best. DESPIA in this video he fought he was super lucky to be able to have enough levels to summon Yazi. otherwise next turn he would 100% lose.

coz numeron can't double its own atk when there is no atk, (basically Chengying effect reduce all their atk to 0)

Swordosul really isn’t that strong. The real problem is adventure renting, where they overuse crystron and auroradan

Swordsoul is honestly purely balance rn. the reason it's OP is cuz Baron exists and it's soo generic unlike it's level 8 counterpart. same as how Virtual world is only OP because of VFD.
Compare this deck to Despia and it's like a rouge deck at best.
DESPIA in this video he fought he was super lucky to be able to have enough levels to summon Yazi. otherwise next turn he would 100% lose.
