That nokia guy spoke out what teenagers think about their first phone... like it: it has snake... thats all.... didnt like it: because my parents can call me....
I retired in 2010 and my kids talked me into an iPhone 3GS before that my phones were supplied at work and the first potable one I had a battery that weighed about 15 pounds and an 8 or 10 foot antenna. The handset was a regular house phone handset and on top of the battery was a base you put the handset on to hang up. The rotary dialer was on top of the battery too. And yes I do remember that when I was a kid milk was delivered to my house by the milkman and he used a horse drawn carriage with the milk kept cool by blocks of ice
My very first cellphone was a Motorola C261 from TracFone. I got it in Christmas of 2005 and I thought it was the best phone ever. I was so happy when I got it. It had a beast of a VGA camera on it and it was a bar phone. I would totally go back to those days if I could.

Sadly while I have a few smartphones, I sometimes have to use the SIM adapter and pop the card into my old flip phone if I need to go to the bad part of town. NY has mostly gotten past the phase where people would try to rob you for a flip phone, but they will still try and rob you for even a $50 smart phone that I first tried before just switching to using a high end device for the good part of the city, and a flip phone for the bad part.
Oh man, I can’t remember what my first phone was. I think it was that house phone looking one. Apparently my memory only goes back as far as to the Sidekick and the first gen Motorola Droid. That was a rad phone. I hacked DOOM on to it. Was hard af to play on it, but it was the accomplishment that mattered. I was a big supporter of Android when it came out. And a PC guy. But once I got my hands on an iPhone 4s my world changed. Then I got a Mac Mini, then an iPad and ever since then haven’t turned back from the Apple ecosystem. It just works beautifully. (Until Steve Jobs died)
There were phone cabins ed very where back in the days and monthly subscriptions were super expensive. I only started to see a real use for a cellular phone, for myself, when they were getting smarter ... my first phone was that Sony- Erickson Xperia 10 mini pro .. some thing like that.
I never had my first phone until later of 2008, when I was 18. My first phone was the Blackberry Curve 8310 which my mom lend it to me shortly after my dad bought 2 of the same phones after he returned home from airport. It was a great looking phone (although I later knew there were better BlackBerry phones out there like the Bold, which I could not afford) and I can surf the internet, but only for a week since my dad couldn't afford to have two seperate internet plans. I use only GSM since then. My Android device was a very cheap tablet that is so less powerful than any Android phones back in 2011 for Christmas. Well, two cheap tablets. I accidentally broke one, and the second one become nearly unusable due to the bloating battery because of the heatwave that struck our neighborhood. My third tablet was a decent Android device, and it was made by Acer. She buy this for me just in case my second tablet failed, like a spare tablet.
Samsung D500 Had the beautiful Samsung U700 for a while after. Lovely phone After that, I got a Samsung C3510 Genoa for a bit but shortly a Blackberry Bold afterwards. I had that for a good while too until I got an iPhone 4 and an iPhone 4s when the 6 got released. In 2014 I got a 6, in 2016 I got a note 5, note 8 now. Still use the iPhone 6 on the side for other things, like the gym etc
A lot of these first phone's videos show Motorola branded phones, it's amazing how back then it was such a popular brand and people let it die, hopefully one day comes back to the top
@@firescapesunrise same here, however I'm on an LG G8 rn... They didn't gave us a flagship until this year and my G8 is perfectly fine so far... Maybe I'll go back to Moto next year
I was one of the first to get a cellphone in.1995 ,i was a student in Paris ,i had all kind of strange guys coming to talk to me with all kinds of business proposals,Ha!Ha! Ha! I felt like a VIP.great vid.i love it because i love the 90s
Why every tech guy going gaga on first phone.. Hmm let me think my first phone?? 🤔 Ya it's Nokia 😏... Waiting for MKBHD and UNBOXTHERAPHY to share their first phone..
Nokia 2600, Sony Xperia k750i, HTC Explorer Nokia 2690 after my phone screen broke Motorola Moto G , 1st gen Blackberry Bold 9900 iPhone 4s Xiaomi Redmi Note 4g Huawei Honor 8
Love how many of these are so much better than my first phone! Got mine back in 2012 - super cheap Nokia from 7-Eleven SpeakOut. Didn’t have a camera and the screen was the worst thing ever 😂 Funny thing is it had a headphone jack, which my current iPhone 11 actually lacks 😂😂😂
My first phone was the Sony Ericsson W810i. One of the best phones that I ever had. It had a Great 2MP AutoFocus (one of the first to have that feature for the time) camera. Great MP3 player.
My first phone was an iPhone 6, then I upgraded to a Huawei P20 Lite, which I'm typing this comment on! I really like it and it works really well for my needs.
My first phone was an Ericsson T28. The phones that followed after that was: Nokia 3390 (2) Motorola V60 Motorola Accompli 700 T Mobile Sidekick II T Mobile Dash (stolen) T Mobile Sidekick III Blackberry Curve 8900 Blackberry Bold 2 Motorola Droid 2 Global R2D2 iPhone 4S iPhone 6 Plus (current) Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge (Current
My first phone was the Samsung solstice 2 and my second one was the pantech laser and my 3rd phone was my s3 mini and my 4th was the ZTE Maven 2 and my 5th phone which is the one I have now is the Galaxy s8+
Phones I bought were Nokia 5610 xpress music, N82, N86 and N8, Samsung galaxy S2, sony xperia p and tx, LG G2, G3, G3 beat G4, and currently V20. From 2008 to 2017
My first phone was an AMOi A9b, the followed by the whole series the brand had to offer (S6, D85, D89, M636) before eventually moving to Sony Ericsson in the likes of the swivel phones S700i, W550i and then W900i... These phone we're damn durable, they didn't even had to go to the service centre but eventually sim support and the closure of 2G networks made them redundant and I switched to Sharp Aquos Crystal and Crystal X till this date...
remember most of those, but u failed to mention blackberrys! Not my first phone but my 4th. Back in the day, we had cell one in NY, you could upgrade every year for a penny, after they sold out to sprint, you could upgrade every 2 years for a few bucks. After having a cell phone for 20 plus years, I'm on metro. Not the newest and greatest, but cheaper plans, I'm not about to toss $90 just for having a phone, let alone data cost.
First phone i ever had is LG 420G. a flip phone. my parents bought for me for my 18th brithday (in 2011). Never had a cell phone up to that point, due to the fact that my parents didn't want me to have a cellphone (and where mostly hell bent on making sure up to my 18th birthday) and due to being how close my brithday was to the last day of high school, i really didn't have much contact on it. But did had an ipod touch (4g) so it was good...i guess

$20 says Jeff Bakalar was drunk and/or high during his interview. 🙃
I can guess their age range based on their first phones. Some are older than I thought
Yannick Olivier Orounla same 😂
