Completely unrelated to the main story here, and I say this from my heart Digi; The BMW might be another bad choice. *Not that they are bad cars.* Not that you shouldn't be proud for being able to own one. Also, I know that the tire problem comes down to the car not coming with a full-size spare. Its a ploy that even cheaper car brands do to have people come into the dealership. But as time wears on, even with low mileage, BMW's wear out and depreciate like mad with very, *very* high repair costs. Its not their engines, body work, or even other mechanical parts that are the problem. Its the electronics that they pack in. They may have up to a hundred different computers (modules); meaning its simply a game of chance. Mathematically, its more likely for something in a system to break the more separate parts it has, even if its well built. As I've heard, once you go over 5 years (something like 70k to 100k miles) with a BMW, the risk of something needing repaired goes up drastically. I wouldn't say anything, but you seem to be the kind of person that is very put off (and I mean deeply mentally frustrated) with any inconvenience that is outside your expertise, exemplified in this tire incident. Oh yeah, she totally was not legally allowed to do that. Changes to the lease (either a substantial increase to rent or the inclusion of groundskeeping) would have to be agreed to by both parties and an ammendment signed. Obviously it's already done and gone, but for others out there who may be in similar circumstances, here are a couple options: You could negotiate a lower rent in exchange for the inclusion of groundskeeping You could simply state "I have signed a lease and do not wish to make any changes to it." Or if you're in Digi's scenario where really you'd love to just move out, that would be a great time to negotiate an early end to the lease. It simultaneously allows the landlord to modify the lease for future tenants, while also allowing yourself an early out to a situation you don't want in the first place

I still think you can make gaming stuff work. But not lets plays. This is personal opinion but your strongest stuff (not necessarily the most profitable, I know) is your analysis. Or, perhaps, the presentation of your analysis. I'm not certain which is more important, but both are necessary. Who gives a crap if you can't beat game x on difficulty y, I don't come to you for speed running information. I don't talk to friends about your channel as "that anituber" I say "the anime analysis guy I watch on youtube". Tell me about the directing, the design. if possible, dive into it like you do anime: "person x made or did this part of anime y and, guess what, turns out they did this other anime so that's why the following statement is true..blah blah blah". That'd be pretty cool. In an old video of yours you mentioned anime community is one of the most welcoming, specifically in comparison to gaming or mlp. So maybe user your fanbase as a springboard (which I assume you were trying to do with Iam games). Forget the non-anime fan gamers for the moment as you try to break through. Some portion of them like your analysis videos above all, memetics aside, so perhaps that angle is the key to leverage a new base. I know analysis videos are not cost effective, but what about secondary benefits? Didn't shitting on SAO get you a surge in fans? Some of those stuck around right? Sure that was not high effort, but I think the high effort stuff serves a similar function. bottom line, you'll get eyes on the channel. So a high effort low return that gets you more eyes in general, so more eyes on the low effort more return stuff as well right? You might never be Dunkey, but I don't know many anime fans that don't game, and they have gaming friends, and there's room there. Maybe do all the games anime fans like first. You know your content cost benefit better than anyone, so this is just food for thought. I would personally enjoy analytical game content. I don't even like Pokemon and I sat through at least one whole game review of yours from way back in the day.
it's actually pretty hard legally for landlords to evict you, and if they try to shut off your utilities you can get a court order for them to not do that without too much trouble. this is the plot of, like, an entire silicon valley arc and it's totally based in reality
Watching this was really reassuring. Not in any specific way, but I'm currently in a similar situation all at once so it's nice to have some vicarious experience to take in. Plus this was so chill

he would talk about some other gaming analysis channels (i remember Innuendos Studios also were mentioned) on IAMGAMES streams; thats why he could write them without having even played the games
Have you considered just making Tales of Tales of main channel? I don't think talking about a JRPG is too off brand for an anime channel especially when the history is linked to people who have worked in anime. I understand the time investment into making one of the views is quite a bit, but can't help but feel like it would make better returns on your main channel rather than with I AM GAMES as you did it. Might even get more views if you covered Symphonia/Vesperia. Regardless I hope everything goes better with this move and you hit full on content machine stride again, especially if you get Nate involved. (Tom as well if he can escape from Boston/Back Issues)

2k a month? That’s insane. You could be saving so much money you could put a huge down payment a house in like 5 years.
@2:00:00 Are you guys sure that you needed to fill it up all the way? Maybe the tank is bigger than you expected, and filling it up halfway ($350) would last you a whole year. Doesn't matter now, I'm just trying to come up with explanations for that price difference because it's so mind boggling.
With as many people, and strong personas, as the PCP has, I don't see it being anything like Red Letter Media. I always picture something more Loading Ready Run -ish.
Oh yeah, she totally was not legally allowed to do that. Changes to the lease (either a substantial increase to rent or the inclusion of groundskeeping) would have to be agreed to by both parties and an ammendment signed.
Obviously it's already done and gone, but for others out there who may be in similar circumstances, here are a couple options:
You could negotiate a lower rent in exchange for the inclusion of groundskeeping
You could simply state "I have signed a lease and do not wish to make any changes to it."
Or if you're in Digi's scenario where really you'd love to just move out, that would be a great time to negotiate an early end to the lease. It simultaneously allows the landlord to modify the lease for future tenants, while also allowing yourself an early out to a situation you don't want in the first place
Dude i loved this video, i live in a small town in Virginia called Dumfries and it's a 3 hour drive from VA beach but you know what digi you've kinda inspired me to check out VA Beach as a potential living spot. Hope this all works out well for you Digi
I really appreciate this video, it show that this is a job and your content has thought .👍
This is Digibro's most recommended video 4 me atm idk why
🎵But the fact still stands I killed my landlord dead
Now I've got three meals and a roof over my head🎵
I don't even like Pokemon and I sat through at least one whole game review of yours from way back in the day.
its kinda nice that you are open with all this stuff especially with the whole money/taxes thing
it's actually pretty hard legally for landlords to evict you, and if they try to shut off your utilities you can get a court order for them to not do that without too much trouble. this is the plot of, like, an entire silicon valley arc and it's totally based in reality
Watching this was really reassuring. Not in any specific way, but I'm currently in a similar situation all at once so it's nice to have some vicarious experience to take in. Plus this was so chill
3 hours?
Oh dis gon be good
Paying first month, last month, and security deposit is pretty standard for rentals in general.
They're absolutely adorable, idk, I felt the need to say that.
digi on an upswing lately
What a shame. That Finish or Fail was one of my favorite videos of yours
I want to hear more about the month you guys spent smoking and doing Acid

Yeah dude seeing him at the norva was wild its such a small venue and everybody is hype as fuck im super excited for $uicideboy$ in August!
Man, the concept of mania sounds so alien to me, I'm a fucking slug, I have a BAD time doing anything that takes effort, even if I love it.
you know, mao had a point with the landlords and all
Thanks for sharing this, made me realize how little I've done this year
I'm dying to know what the absolute fuck that three day conversation was about
Ayy I'm the one who posted the shinobi vid to Reddit :)
You have done god's work
Oh, wow, he just casually drops Noah Caldwell-Gervais' name... Is it strange that was the most surprising thing in the video for me?
he would talk about some other gaming analysis channels (i remember Innuendos Studios also were mentioned) on IAMGAMES streams; thats why he could write them without having even played the games
I'm completely fixated on his foot rapidly moving.
Even in Nebraska where I live, my mom’s house sold in a day. It might’ve taken time to move in, but the house sold almost immediately.
Not important, but just to clarify, no, I don’t live in the country. I live in a metropolitan area. Sorry, people just think there’s nothing, but country in the Midwest.
Yoooo fellow Nebraska gang reporting in. Also similar story, our next door neighbor mentioned they were putting their house up for sale on a wednesday morning. They already sold the place by that friday.
There is some fucking chaotically wholesome energy in this video
In Quebec evicting someone is like a 6 month legal process
I love how much this video descended into pure insanity. Beautiful stuff
Oh my god...the glasses have come off...the time has come. (Good luck on the move!)
if it is not a parallel circuit, then if you turn off one side it shuts down the current
