I will use this template. Pure gold. Thanks for sharing, Sam.
Thanks for the detailed video on bidding strategy. Also I like your Google Shopping playlist because this is helping me to solve things in the Google Merchant Center and Google Ads.
Would be sweet to see a video about the details of filling out the fields of the shopping feed :) Different methods of the feed and best practices on fields to pay attention to.
Thank you Sam, it's so great and practical ways how to learn step by step, then, I have learned that, I have made ad groups to be different? 1. From Content API 2. Done from Merchant Center? Can I group both into same Ad group for further possible conversions? (8 products are ready to serve anyway) Your advice would be valuable for the store.
Love the way you teach 😊🤩. Sir can you tell me how to create shopping campaign for specific products? Please share some information on it. Hope for your reply.
Hi there! Very nice video and content, thank you! I have one question: is this bidding an option for smart shopping campaigns or only for regulars? Thanks.
Hello, I have seen this video from the scratch. I have noticed one thing. You never spoke about what the overall cost being spent and the conversion value/cost for the same data. I was really looking for those numbers. So I could make out how much money was it making.
Hi Sam, I will really appreciate it if you can answer this question, on your video about "How to Set Up Custom Columns in Google Ads " you talked about the Average Profit Generated per Conversion which uses the %profit margin to be calculated. I am a little bit confused cause on your bid strategy you use also the %profit margin to calculate the Max CPA on Break-Even but with this one, you don't minus / subtract the cost as you did with the Average Profit Generated. So, in a nutshell, my question would be, How are these two Indicators different and when to use them properly?
Hey Sam! First of all, great videos man they are super usefull and well explained. Secondly, I have tried getting the Template but i do not receive it, already checked all the folders and nothing. Could you help?
Hey Sam, i think the av conv value contains the shipping fee in my case. Is it a problem? Should I change the Max CPA column to (av conv value - shipping)* profit margin?
Hi Sam, I need small clarification, first you said "M" column is a profit margin and again you said it is a break even how come??, and you are multiplying average order value with break even, you said it is a max CPA how come???
Awesome video! Is there a way to mass import all those new bids back into google ads? And if you have an account with hundreds or thousands of products, would you still do this method in a more automated way or switch to Target CPA or Target ROAS? Also, what if you are a big firm with thousands of products but you go into a new market (smaller countries) and have a really low amount of sales per campaign. What would you do then?
Can you recomend small start budget account managers? I've tried fiverr but there seem to be a lot of people from India on there with very limited skillset and it becomes very time consuming and the cost ads up.
hey i am having problem is that i am selling bee suit and run shopping ads for it but it 2 days gone i get just 100 imppresions and 1 click i think the problem is that i dont get my product get category acuratly kindly guide me what category i put in product feed becuase the exact product category is not exit in google product category
great content ! I like your videos :) - Is it more efficient to use this manual bidding strategy instead doing target ROAS ? - How many conversions do I have to wait before testing this manual bidding strategy ? Thanks Sam
Hey Alain! Thanks! 1. It depends, it takes more time, especially with more products - sometimes manual is more profitable than Target ROAS, sometimes not. 2. You can start with 1 conversion but it’s not going to be as accurate. I usually like to see 10 or more conversions per product (but it depends).
I presume there are scenarios where competition for the product is so high that the CPC is equivalent or equal to the break even margin at a product level? .I.e. sometimes you have to accept that a Google shopping ads strategy is a race to the bottom, not profitable and therefore have to look for alternative sales and marketing tactics?
That can happen if you only focus on select parts of your overall strategy... but there is ALAWAYS a way to compete, never resign yourself against your competition. Focus on optimizing other areas, like your product feed or your AOV or (the most crucial metric of all) the conversion rate on your store.
Hey Sam. Let's say the initial bid was 1 dollar. After how many conversions/clicks will you adjust the max cpc per product? Following your strategy, I have 2 unprofitable products ($50 value) that needs a significant decrease in max cpc from $1 to $0.5 from 1-2 conversions and $80 ad spent. Is this a good move?
How lomg you can keep the changes for machine learning after making changed on these bids? What do you suggest. How many days to wait and see the results?
@@KeyCommerce sorry that was a typo. I meant in this video we have seen changing some bid values. Question is, until how long we can keep this changes undone?
Hi Sam thanks for this valuable video, it will help me when i go into scaling phase. One quick question i want to ask, when should i consider making a SINGLE PRODUCT CAMPAIGN? (Can i make after 3 conversations profitable or non-profitable?) And how to make a single product campaign (should i copy and paste the general test campaign or make a new one) And what bid strategy should i use for SPC (can I use manual cpc without enhanced?) And what should be the maximum CPC?
@@KeyCommerce that answers my question, I have another search campaign. Having over 10 conversions in the last 30days. Now can I apply this formula on it?

Thanks for the great video 👍 but I want to ask in case of increasing cpc as compared to new max cpc in the template what should I do?
So, to use your template and manage the bids manually with your template I should keep the setting "manual CPC" - is that right?

Perhaps try Upwork.

Give it more time, it’s only been 2 days. Google Shopping takes time to build up impressions and then clicks.

Why would you not just use automated bidding if you have all that data? There are more signals you're not accounting for just as user loc, device etc
Hello, i entered my email and did’t get the sheet! Any help?

P.s. I love your videos man
Thanks man! Let me take a look to see if I can fix it.
Hey Jahsi, can you check your spam folder or the promotions tab in gmail?
Yep just did thanks
Found it? 🙏
Mr Sam Baldwin 😎 Yep!
Will this be working in smart shopping campaigns?
No because you can’t edit bids manually in smart shopping.
@@KeyCommerce that answers my question, I have another search campaign. Having over 10 conversions in the last 30days. Now can I apply this formula on it?
Do you ever use this strategy for paid search campaigns or any other kind of campaigns besides google shopping?
Man, I wish someone would just put a strategy video together without constantly trying to drive sign-ups :(
