The content is worth a million dollars. I'm grateful for your fantastic content. The best part for me is at 6:10 when you used your creativity in learning 😂😂which was really good.
Thank you so much for the video! There are bigger bloggers talking about Google ads, but you make the most clear and logical videos. You have a real gift for teaching, and I think that's one of the main things that will make you the biggest over time. May I ask you to make a video that would help advertisers combine two platforms into one advertising strategy - Google and Instagram. Maybe it's possible to "surround the buyer on all sides"?
What would you advise for real estate consultants? We ain't selling properties like developers, were are marketing properties so isn't clicks the correct way to go for?
There are no conversions in the account yet. Should I run my first ads on conversions, or is it better to maximize the number of clicks for my first campaign? As everyone said before.
You can try prioritizing clicks if you're setting up a fresh campaign in order to show data. Conversion needs at least 30 conversions within 30 days to show data.
Don't use maximise clicks unless 1) Your keywords SHOULD be a phrase or exact match 2)Less competition otherwise it might get expensive with irrelevant traffic 3)High intent keywords must be in your campaign to control results
Hey Ben, Thank you for your wonderful videos. I'm currently figuring out how is best to target specific groups (not area) in Google UAC campaigns. Do you have any recommendations on how to tackle this issue? As far as I'm concerned Audience lists can't be used for UAC campaigns, and Google no longer have lookalike audience feature. Thank you so much for your assistance!
Hi Ben, you're incredibly helpful on so many points. I'm trying to configure and optimise the Web to App Connect and then maximising conversions of app purchases (not downloads) and follow this conversion strategy. Will this be something you would cover in a strategy session? Thank you
Hey Ben, thank you for the valuable tutorial! Can you begin by choosing conversion value for your first ever campaign on Google? Or should you bid for conversions first to find the correct ROAS? Conversion value bidding cant find that for you?
A tip for you guys: keep a close eye on how many conversion you got before and after you increased troas - you might drop in growth by aiming to high. This needs to be balanced and ofc align with ur goals (growth/revenue). I have seen people going crazy of high roas numbers, but miss out how it can affect the growth and also revenue in the long run
Loved it , do you use Performance Max Campaigns in Google ads to generate Leads? Only search ads are enough right? To generate leads, inquiries, and appointments for home service businesses?
@@BenHeathGoogleAds thanks first i will use search ads and after 30 conversions or leads I will use Pmax, do you think it’s a good idea? And does it cost more??
@BenHeathGoogleAds The only conversion type I see that works is page view. People that engage deeper pages for expensive professional services seem to be the only conversion type that indicates interest. Since watching your video I have set up two page view conversions for contact and project pages, and of course the elusive contact form. Do you think this will be enough conversion data for bidding to work? We get like 20 page views for projects a week versus 150 for the home page.
@@samuelthedude Don't you have a request information form, call us buttons etc on your website? You need to define those actions as conversations if you haven't done so.
If your starting off with a new search campaign, isn't it ideal to start off with selecting clicks with your bidding strategy to collect as much data as possible and then eventually transitioning to using conversions for your bidding strategy?
It can be, but I don't necessarily think that you collect more data optimizing for clicks as opposed to conversions. You want Google to learn how to get you conversions more than anything else.
Great stuff and advice Ben, really appreciate it. Btw, does the Ad Strength matter? Sometimes the stuff it recommends conflicts with the advice in your videos, does the score matter?
Thanks :) With those recommendations you have to be careful. Often they are great but sometimes they are self serving. It's a case of working out which is which.
Respect to you Ben for this post & I have a very important question to ask before I go ahead with my campaign taking your advice regarding conversion value to select at 300% ROAS but will this also work for advertising music videos? If not, please tell me ASAP what you would recommend? Sincere regards, God bless.
Happy to help? Are people able to purchase it? Or are you sending them somewhere they can watch it for free? If they aren’t buying it, I wouldn’t optimise for conversion value.
I am grateful for your response, yes I’m sending them to my channel where they can watch it for free so which option should I go for as it recommends I do conversions? Just to check what the info would say I selected clicks which I’m sure I did previously & got good results but this time is states on the page : (You’ve chosen to focus on using the maximise clicks strategy but your account tracks conversions) so do I go ahead with clicks or conversions as I would like to gain good results earning money from this so can you please confirm which is the best option for me? Sincere regards, God bless.
Hi Ben, hope you are doing fine :) ¿Do you ever had your campaign CPA automatically changed without any notification from Google Ads? I checked the CPA autoapply recommendation but is currently off, so im sure this isn't the problem. Google support isn't helping either, so im kinda stuck with this :/ ¿Is there anything else i could be doing wrong with this? Thanks in advance, great content btw
Awesome Ben, no one answered this question! how much is the lowest budget per day in Google ads to get leads for home, kitchen, and bathroom remodeling companies? I mean let's assume we need 2 leads in a day, and we get that out of 15 clicks. So to get 15 clicks and 2 leads How much will be the lowest ad cost I should be spending on Google ads per day?
Yes. You should be able to calculate "whats the average incoming call worth to me" and then calculate how much you are willing to spend on getting incoming calls. It's hard but with some historical data, lets say last 6 months, you can evaluate price per action.
how does pausing effect google ads? I run a repair shop, and sometimes when I get too busy I will pause them until im ready again. is that like starting all over again?
Would google start prioritising branded terms even further to reach that target roas? (assuming you don't want to remove branded terms from the pmax campaign)
I do think there is a risk with that. You'll be able to check to see if that's happening so good idea to keep an eye on it. I think the other positives may outweigh that risk though.
Hi. Thanks for sharing wonderful videos. I’m working in a very niche industry, the number of conversations are quite small. Because of compliance concerns I only can run search ads. When I set the campaigns to max conversion I get zero impressions, any suggestions for a situation like this?
Thanks a lot. In your scenario you probably need to optimize for clicks. At least for the timebeing. It's not normally what I'd recommend but I think is important in your situation.
Hey Ben! I just wanted to express my gratitude for all the amazing content you've shared on Google Ads. It has been incredibly helpful to me in so many ways. By the way, I was wondering if there might be any intern or part-time job opportunities available at your agency. I'm planning to relocate from Sweden to the UK, and I don't have any connections there. It would mean the world to me if you could lend a hand. Thanks a bunch!
i've never undersood why google wants us to set a tartget ROAS....i mean, literally everyone wants the MAXIMUM return for their money. Why let us have a setting that alters our outcome?
That's an interesting take. I think Google wants to get a sense of how they are performing for advertisers and that helps with that. I get your point though.

If you can't track the conversions then yes. But you can optimize for enquiries most likely so we would optimize for that conversion.

Maximize calls most likely :)

That’s determined by the quality of your ad.
