      You all must not have watched the whole video - That's how much I paid to upgrade from my last bike. Is it clickbait in that it draws people in - absolutely. Is that the true price I paid out of pocket for getting this bike - absolutely.

    I paid 125k pesos (2.9k cad) for an spez enduro 29/6fattie medium 2018, had a fox x2 170mm rear and fox 36 170mm, had xt 12 speed groupset, xt 4pot brakeset and a fox transfer dropper post, the frame was aluminum but the parts were nice, owner had ridden it but was not using the bike at its full potential, it was probably the luckiest buy in my life

    I did a similar thing except i sold my dj bike and older endero bike for a value of about 5k then I picked up a 4 year old top speced Santa Cruz nomad for 5500$

    Having experience getting industry discounts this is just not accurate. For some components you can get over 50% off. The only reason I have a $2-3k bike is because of those discounts. If I had sold my previous bike the build would have been free. If I didn’t have the discount I would be out $2000+

    I recently bought a transition Sentinel alloy 2022 year and sold my RipMo Af. Now my bike is a custom buildup and I am having difficulties with suspension set up and getting my Sentinel with fox performancely suspension to feel right ? now on the Ibis I had DVO and I’ve had rock shock before but for some reason the fox 36 with the grip to damper and the float X rear shock just don’t feel as nice or as plush or as something so what do you recommend??

    I did something similar, where I took my V1 Ripmo - GX build, sold it to my brother for around $3500, then turned around and bought another V1 Ripmo - XT Build with Ibis Carbon S35/I9s ( what I initially wanted) for $4500. So this costed me $1K which is pretty good.
    I'm curious about the Sentinel. Since you previously reviewed the V1 Ripmo and are familiar with Ibis bikes, how does the platform compare with regard to climbing and overall pedal efficiency? Thanks!

    I dunno if I’d call that a full on enduro… the patrol I got definitely feels more all mountiany to me. Either way it’s my first transition and I’m loving it with some minor changes.
