I'm pretty sure this isn't true. Nobody ever said anything like this back in 2014-2015 that is a new thing people on the internet cooked up. Only s197 5.0 that had the bottom end of the s550 was the boss because the s550 engine was derived from the boss.
I think it's just hopefull 2014 owners that came up with this. With that said the gen 1 coyote isn't as fragile as its made out to be. They're more likely to stay alive if you stay off the limiter and use good fuel.

Cool video thanks for sharing. How do you hook up so well on the street? I struggle in that department, or on poorly prepped tracks. Strange single adjustables up front, drag shocks in the rear, BMR drag springs, LCA relo brackets and BMR LCAs. Thanks!

A lot of testing but I’m double adjustable all around, stock springs and i run a slick. That’s also one of the reasons i went with a th400 trans was to knock some gear out of it on the hit

That is internet fake news. Now think hard about what you said. Why would Ford put the 2015 engine in the 2014? It makes 0 sense for them and there is no reason to do it. I never heard anything like that until the last few years people started claiming this online but there is not one shred of legit evidence to back it up just people saying it online.
