I can absolutely underline your comment! Very well summarized. Lionel can bring music to life, arousing and conveying emotions. That is also what can enchant us as viewers. From my point of view, this is only possible if your emotions and heart are involved when you play. As you described it, everything with him is so beautiful to see, hear and feel.
@ramonachanteltaylor5016 Completely agree, it makes me so happy to see Lionel having fun with his music, busking singing practicing cello or violin. Of course his brilliant piano. He's in his element following his passion his heart his dreams. So grateful he shares his beautiful music with us!! A blessing to the world 🌎🌍. ❤❤❤
I hope your tour gives you some time away and can relax up and unwind as well, apart from that i know it will be good so enjoy yourself as much as you can! Also great video im looking forward to seeing the new stuff soon
Ever since I first heard Lindsey Stirling's Crystallize, there's just something about dubstep and classical that mixes so well; I just love it, and this too!
Please come to St. Louis, MO, I will find a way to get tickets, I already know they will be expensive! Love your style, plus my wife plays and it will just be a good time and a great experience!
I have seen this pianist before on other videos But IMO this is pretty epic!!! “To play a note is insignificant but to play without passion is inexcusable” Ludwig Von Beethoven Yes he said that!! 😊
@AshleyMoon-du6hg We have tickets for LA too! :-) I'm sure you're aware that buying in Golden 🎫 Ticket pre-sales and you probably already have your ticket too, gets you the best price and priority seating. :-) I'm not sure exactly when Lionel will tell us when priority seating opens, but we will have one week to choose our seats as golden ticket holders. Can't Hardly Wait as they say in Texas! LA Lionel Yu Concert, here we come!. 😊 ❤️
wow I only found out now and you already came to Amsterdam haha. If you're ever going on tour again and decide to go to Amsterdam or somewhere else in the Netherlands or Belgium, I'll gladly join! Have fun on the remaining dates ~~
Oh wow you're Lionel Yu! I just watched your video about the Fiver producers and the 5th Symphony thinking you were just a UA-camr, not a musician. I also just watched you play the 3rd Movement of Moonlight Sonata, one of my favourite pieces. I enjoyed your interpretation and mastery of it. I've listened to thousands of different versions of my favourite pieces by many different artists. I'm curious about your opinion on one of my guilty pleasures - 'Beethoven like you've never heard before' (ua-cam.com/video/wbgInLJ81eY/v-deo.html). The Moonlight Sonata and Fur Elise are insane. I have a version from a few years ago that I enjoy even more that no longer seems to be available IMHO the classical artists in their seminal pieces reached perfection, or as close to it as we're likely to get. You can't add to perfection otherwise it becomes less perfect. You can't add extra protons or electrons to an atom without creating a new element but you CAN add extra neutrons to form isotopes of the same element. Personally I enjoy pieces like the above that don't actually add anything new and change them into a different element but add neutrons to form different versions of the original. The above piece for me is definitely not perfect but has some intriguing aspects to it Perhaps if you were to repeat your Fiver experiment you could ask producers to attempt to reinterpret the pieces rather than supplement them. It's rewarding occasionally to hear pieces like those from the Fiver producers but would you really listen to them 10,000 times over your lifetime like you would the originals? That's the challenge. Sometimes I'm blown away by new takes on old classics but the feeling quickly fades. I never get bored of original Beethoven and there are parts of the piece I linked above that I never get bored of either
holy shit bro...this is amazing!! dude i'm not a musician. but i make music. i make terrible music and videos. it's all really unpleasant all around, but that's the point. challenge me to remix something.

Continue mixing modern electro and classical bcs You can make an new era
Think about how crazy it is that music from hundreds of years ago is mixing with today's technology. These composers never saw it coming ❤
Have you seen the young lady who plays electric guitar 🎸 and performed this same composition??
I can’t think of her name
Ugh 😑

THIS IS AMAZING!!! I feel so inspired by you!! I'm even learning how to play Moonlight sonata nightmare from your video!!! 😁😁❤️❤️❤️
This feels like the Startup Samsan Tech pitch video but without the self-awareness.
We are witnessing history....
You are a genius ✨✨✨✨✨✨🔥🔥🔥🔥🤣🔥 out of this space
It reminds me of a series if cassette tapes that came out a number of years ago, one of which was titled - "Hooked on Classics".
Yes, it is available here on YT. He should do a piano version of that album. And add some lasers, effects and lighting like Trans Siberian orchestra!
This is just epic!!❤
I would like to see you and Lindsey Stirling play together!

so
Omg leave classical music the way it was. we don't need to add drum beats or anything modern to it.
There is plenty of room for BOTH :) Enjoy...
