Donna, is there nothing you can't do? Last weeks quilt video I said was just magnificent. What do I say to this..... I love the fabric, it turned out beautifully, You are by far my favorite quilting channel. I am sure I am not the only one that waits every week for your video release. Wow. I never would have given that pattern a chance because of the colors on the cover. You made a silk purse out of a sows ear! Your fabric choices sell that pattern. Your quilt is very lovely. Thank you for your tutorials.
Interesting that this comment is seen nearly every tutorial....probably not choosing pattern due to the colors chosen on pattern.

You are free to change the colours of fabric. I never use the one's suggested unless I like them.
If you don't have much experience of struggle with this aspect, try your local quilt shop. They are usually happy to offer advice on fabric choice.

It’s magical to watch you go from cutting, sewing, and pressing, to laying it out (on a table I drool over every video) to choosing your borders and thread, quilting it, and then showing us the finished product in less than 15 minutes! I stay up late at night to watch your quilting tutorials….the hubs calls it my QUILTING PORN!

What a GREAT pattern to use up a layer cake! This looks like such a fun one to sew. Pressing to all the same direction and no seams to match. My kind of sewing! And I love the colors of this one too. I soooo agree with Julie! You are also MY favorite quilt channel!! You have such an eye for fabric and design! That's my favorite part of quilting is picking out the fabric for the pattern and then piecing it! Then I send it to a long arm! I haven't gotten into quilting yet except for table runners or wall hangings!! Thank you to your whole team! Keep on smiling and creating!

I had to watch the video twice, once for the pattern to come to life with fabric I would never have chosen. You always are an inspiration with your fabric choice. The second view was to try and figure out what was on the tips of your nails. Along with watching a great tutorial, I always am intrigued with your nails. Over Christmas I went down with a really nasty cold. For a couple of days I was too exhausted to do anything except look at YT. One of your videos came up, and I found myself binge watching your tutorials. Donna, you are a natural teacher. Instructions so clear, I found myself in Hobbycraft (UK based) 2 weeks later, and am about to attempt to make a cot quilt for my Grandson, born 3 weeks ago, using your It's Only Triangles pattern. Wish me luck!

I LOVE this!! Would never have chosen that pattern, but with this fabric it's gorgeous. I like that there's no white. I think I can trust you when you say it's truly a beginner quilt - I had lost trust in that with various teachers. Disappointed that it couldn't be ordered from Jordan Fabrics, but I just pressed the button to order all the fabrics to make this, from a store 100 miles from me ... not available anywhere else in Canada that I could find. Lucky me! I'm so excited to make this for my son's wedding in queen size. Your videos bring so many people a lot of joy and inspiration. Will send a pic when I'm done.
