  • Had the urge to give the ice a wack and test the waters for lake trout at Fort Peck the other day. Glad I did!
FYI I'm not offering guided ice fishing trips for 2024 but if you are interested in booking an open water trip on either Fort Peck or Lake Sakakawea then checkout my website for more info! www.fishcastangling.com
I get a lot of questions on where to find Nishine Lures. My two favorite lures for ice fishing lakers are the Nishine SmeltHead in 5/8 oz with 2/0 hook and either a paddle tail or the Nishine 3.4” drop shot minnow, and the Nishine Simcoe 75hw. Their website is www.nishinelureworks.com
Nishine Lures can also be found/ordered at Tackle Warehouse, Omnia Fishing, Waypoint Angler, The Hook Up Tackle, and more…
For more info on barotrauma like the northern pike was experiencing, check out this video: • DID I KILL A 13 LB WAL...
    Thanks for watching!

That’s a giant!! Good work!! Yeah, the first time I ever used the simcoe 75 hw was last year in one of the videos I filmed and since it’s become one of my favorite laker baits all season. Thanks for watching the videos and hope your Utah ice fishing goes great!!

That's a nice glass-bottom boat! I've never seen anyone bring a blow torch to a ice fishing experience, but it definitely showcased some fun fish. Great idea and nice fish, Josh! I guess you figured out that Norsk lithium batteries are waterproof, eh? :) Have a good one!

@@FishcastAngling Ha, ha! I’m glad it still works for you. Good to see you making another video. Keep us guessing. It’s working. ;) Myself, I was about to make another video tonight and found out my 14TB hard drive is crashing and my computer recommended me saving things asap. I’ll need to find the space to edit again so it might take me longer than I’d like before I get back on filming and making videos.

@@rippinglipsadventures that’s a bummer about the hard drive. I’m always afraid of issues with that stuff.

That’s the link to what I’ve been using. It’s very hit and miss due to cloud cover etc. there’s a couple different map options you can pick from and then you can zoom in. Takes a minute to find a clear day and get zoomed in etc correctly. Btw Thanks for watching!
