You are such an expressive person. I like that very much, it gives me an opportunity to understand and memorize the knowledge from the video much more better. Hi from Ukraine!!!
🆘 I have a question concerning the change in time and place (reported speech) When the reporting verb is in the PRESENT, do we change them ⁉️ For example: "We will see her next week." becomes ⬇️ They say that they will see her THE FOLLOWING WEEK. OR the sentence remains the same ⬇️ They say that they will see her NEXT WEEK.
Depending on the context of the situation you can change the present verb into de past. If it is for a true fact you can leave it in the present. Ex: The ice is cold, Julia Said
thank you very much, my english test is wednesday december 8th, 2021, i'm brazilian, but i have difficulty speaking english, speaking and understanding what others say, it's very difficult for me, i'm better at writing, but i can't write I just have to talk too
Hi Sima! "Determine" usually means to figure out or settle a question. For example: "After a physical exam and some testing, the doctor determined that she was anemic." In the example I gave in the video, that verb wouldn't quite fit. However, when used, it would follow the structure of the verb "declare".
Your video deserves more views. This is terribly helpful for me, and you made the entire concept simpler than it was. Thank you, so much!

this lesson was very nice, but I'm so confuse because the different reporting verbs have different structures.
🆘
I have a question concerning the change in time and place (reported speech)
When the reporting verb is in the PRESENT, do we change them ⁉️
For example:
"We will see her next week."
becomes
⬇️
They say that they will see her THE FOLLOWING WEEK.
OR
the sentence remains the same ⬇️
They say that they will see her NEXT WEEK.
I think its : They said (that) they would see her the following week
