Beautiful song beautifully sung. As someone with hearing difficulties it would be helpful to have the words to follow but fortunately I know the the part of John's Gospel it comes from. (The applause at the end broke the worshipful spirit of the piece even though it was well deserved.) Blessings on your ministry of music.
The words are: "I give to you a new commandment, a new commandment I give to you; that you love one another, love one another, as I have loved you, as I have loved you. (x3) Amen." Whilst this is going on the men sing the Latin text "Ubi caritas..." to the ancient plainsong melody.
A beautiful arrangement, sung with warmth and feeling for the words.
David Brookes Thank you!
