    I’m a new convert to Orthodoxy. I’m so happy that the Holy Spirit guided me to the true church. I must admit that the more I learn about the Church Fathers, the Saints, those who have died for the the faith, the more unworthy I feel. I am so ashamed of my sins and ashamed when I fall back into sin. I know I am a fallen creature but I want to be stronger in the face of the attacks of the devil on my mind and body. I feel that this battle will persist for the rest of my life.

    I found my true self in the scriptures. Christ is our heart and true self for it is God in us working for His good pleasure revealing His Son in us. He that descended is the very same that ascended above the heavenly places and filled all things. The first man is of the earth and the second man is the Lord from heaven. Thank you father for teaching the truth. The Lord walks among his people. When the Lord returns will he find faith in the earth?

    I have seen the truth of my being which is God. I know who I am. I live in the heart. I am the second man who is born from above. I recognized the devil and when I saw him for what he was he fled from me. I am one with the Father and the Son. John 14:20.

    Thank you for all your great videos πάτερ. I was asked a question and I wasn’t sure how to answer it maybe someone can help me. Does the Orthodox Church acknowledge being “born again” ? .. Am I correct to say we don’t generally practice a full body baptism rebirth as an adult because we are baptised as infants? Some Catholics become born again even though they are also baptised years prior. I have been trying to find literature on this but haven’t come across much. Thank you

    • @OrthodoxTradition
      @OrthodoxTradition  2 роки тому +4

      Thank you for your message. Yes, we Orthodox are "born again' strictly by an Orthodox baptism. We don't believe that one can be born again without that baptism.

    Forgiveness, two things went through my mind. Alexander the coppersmith who evilly entreated St. Paul. If I recall maybe was the thorn in his side? Regardless, St. Paul delivered him to Satan for the destruction of his flesh.
    Then in Revelations where the very gentle good saints who were abused, neglected, murdered ask G-d how long oh lord, where they're waiting for G-d to execute justice.

      @@OrthodoxTradition you have to pardon me as I do question these other scenarios, where as one verse the faith and patience of the saints, where they endure all kinds of evil waiting for G-d to execute Justice. Knowing he will, but ever waiting.

      If you were to ask a judge in a courtroom why we should call him "Your Honor" you'd probably get in trouble. Apostolic Succession is quite more honorable.

    • @Mika-El-
      @Mika-El- 2 роки тому

      @@OrthodoxTradition Well, I wouldn't call a judge "your honor" either.
      However, I think reverence and respect can - and should - be shown in other ways. I would say the same to a buddhist calling Dalai Lama "your holiness".
      Thanks for answer, somehow I didn't get notification.
