Spreading my Kaidan love by using this comment to gush about how important his Spectre status is. In humanity's perspective, biotics are freaks. Kaidan is even more of a "freak" because of his controversial L2 implant, which we've been told can cause severe side effects. His chronic migraines are the best case scenario. So when he is elevated to Spectre status, it makes humanity at large realize that hey, actually, biotics are people worthy of respect. And it gives other biotics hope that they, too, can achieve great things. As Kaidan said in the last episode, it can be the difference between making something of themselves and sitting at home being a drug addict. I just fall more and more in love with him every time I think about his story.
Great statement, and I would like to add one thing: Shepard is also also biotic (canonically, no matter which class you pick), but has the newer L3 implant, which has few to no side-effects, but also limits the biotic potential. I can imagine (totally my guesswork) that by the time Shepard and Kaidan joined the military, the sentiment against biotics was already down in the military, but maybe not in the general public. It was more his L2 status that made Kaidan an outsider because it could make the biotics erratic and unpredictable.
@@BruceRKF It's true Shepard has biotic potential, but of course the player can choose to never use it. I've never seen being a biotic as part of Shepard's story, while it's very much a part of Kaidan's. Great episode, as always! Quick (spoiler free) tips and suggestions: 1. Be sure to play around with the squad “outfits”. They actually have different stats for each one, so be sure to find what would best help make the squad mate most effective! (Garrus in particular, you can give him +25% weapon damage with an outfit, and then give him a TON more bonus weapon damage with some of his level up skills, to the point where he is super powerful. All those calibrations can finally pay off!! lol 😆) 2. Be sure to be patient when listening to NPC’s talk before you try to interact with them. You will get a lot more info and context that way, which enhances the experience. 3. You usually already do this, but be extra sure to walk around and talk to EVERYBODY after each mission, especially big story missions! There are a TON of great crew interactions you can stumble upon, and some of the characters even go to different locations in the ship to chat with each other! 4. Be aware that the Omega DLC is a completely self contained story that you must complete in one big go, and you don’t get your normal squad mates for it either. It is different than those Aria citadel missions though, those are just for war assets. 5. Game structure: the “Priority” missions are the main story missions, and they move the plot along towards the end. Some important side missions are only available between some of the Priority missions, so it can be very important to complete them before moving on to the next Priority mission. For example, if you don’t do Grissom academy for too long, and just go ahead and do multiple Priority missions instead, bad things happen to the students!! 6. Don’t listen to any haters in the comments! Who cares if you “miss” some things in this play through!? Everybody does their first time, or even beyond that! Have fun and enjoy the experience! And honestly, your play through has already been quite great in all three games by any measure!
Tactical hint: the Sabotage power that Infiltrators have is *amazing* against Cerberus turrets, as it hacks them and makes them fire on their own side.
For first play through, I do recommend spending some more time explore instead of rushing through the mission, sometimes you miss some unique dialogue, for example, you can speak with Wrex before going down the elevator, very interesting dialogue with Liara there. You can also speak to Major Kirrahe which is a war asset. Also, the dialogue of people in the background (e.g. hospital, embassy etc), they are continuous that you only hear the rest if go back to them.
@@basicwitgirl Running only a specific squad doesn't mean you can't upgrade the abilities of other squad members and doing so would have shown you that Wrex had multiple Biotic abilities. Also Wrex mentions in dialogue that he's a Krogan Battlemaster and you fight multiple Krogan Battlemasters in ME1 all of which use Biotics. So Wrex using Biotics shouldn't haven come to a surprise for you. But if you spend most of your focus towards the romance aspect of a single character you tend to overlook, ignore or skip things about other characters that might seem obvious.

The game missed an opportunity to have Miranda back on board here. She needs protection and to hide from Cerberus, where better than a stealth ship? But apparently the VA for Miranda had limited availablity bc she was filming a show, so her role in game was reduced to what we got. Basically her me2 loyalty mission dealing with her sister all over again. Which is a shame, because Sentiniels are my favorite class in game. I like biotic and tech explosions and they can help with both. Maybe that's part of the reason why Kaidan and Miranda are my favorite characters 😂 And in this case some of the renegade prompts aren't exactly evil. I have no idea why the "damn few!' dialogue is a renegade interrupt. The interruptions that are evil are diabolical though.
I suppose it's clear now how hollow the game would feel if your team didn't make it through the Collector Base... Fortunately you got all of them! There is nothing like familiar faces and the game keeps reminding that 😉

The reason everyone is freaking out about Eden Prime is because some side missions disappear after doing certain Priority Missions. Luckily tho, Eden Prime is one of the missions that will never go away. You can wait for Kaiden without worrying about missing anything there.

Generally systems with mass relay don't have anything to scan. Go to other systems, if a system has a % amount in the corner it can be scanned.
Maybe that's part of the reason why Kaidan and Miranda are my favorite characters 😂
And in this case some of the renegade prompts aren't exactly evil. I have no idea why the "damn few!' dialogue is a renegade interrupt. The interruptions that are evil are diabolical though.
you can mod your companions' weapons, too. also, incinerate works great on armour.
Refund-Guy is a running gag throughout all ME-Games.
If you’d seen his whole story, you’d helped him. 😉😆
I missed him in ME1!! dang it!
I suppose it's clear now how hollow the game would feel if your team didn't make it through the Collector Base...
Fortunately you got all of them! There is nothing like familiar faces and the game keeps reminding that 😉
Dude you gotta get to Eden Prime x2
Can't say why can't spoil gotta go totally worth it x2
Not trying to tell you what to do (even though I am 🤷♂🤷♂) but rather, just don't want ya to miss out.
Loving the playthrough. Can't wait for the rest
Allan from New Zealand
Step 1: get Kaidan back
Step 2: DLCs
Can't wait to see BG's cheery disposition put to the test.
😈😈😈
I'm fully ready for this game to break me haha
@basicwitgirl we all thought that 😢
I mean... the zip perhaps has a practical use for, y'know, going to the bathroom and other things, I have no idea what they might be though.🤭
Miranda's defection from Cerberus doesn't make a huge amount of sense if you give TIM the Collector base. Makes total sense if you blow the base up.
That customer asking for a refund is also in all three games.
The reason everyone is freaking out about Eden Prime is because some side missions disappear after doing certain Priority Missions.
Luckily tho, Eden Prime is one of the missions that will never go away. You can wait for Kaiden without worrying about missing anything there.
And she is gonna miss a lot of dialogues.
No they are not "freaking out" because of that.
@@Cheepchipsable Thank you for your non-contribution
@@StopReadingMyNameOrElselmao what? He’s right though. A squad mate gained from that mission has some of the the best dialogue in ME3. She’s honestly doing herself a disservice by not doing the mission.
@@jay-1800 He's not right about anything, because they added no context. Just a braindead comment "no that's wrong".
Every Mass Effect video is always flooded by clowns trying to get the streamer to have a "perfect" run experiencing and seeing everything that you yourself personally like. And in the process spoiling and ruining things that would be a great reveal on their own. She doesn't HAVE to do anything, because they literally designed that mission to be played at any point. Period.
You people need to get a grip and stop embarrassing Mass Effect fans in every video. Demanding certain strategies or forcing her to see things YOU want her to see. Just shut the F up and let her play.
hiya kiddo, all red circle systems are safe to scan, green u will get reapers after 2 or 3 pings, most of the talkie around (check the Spector console )for resolution.
That poor customer has been trying to get a refund since game 1.😢
Basique you’re simply one of a kind, spend time pushing a button to irritate random Salarian, totally forgot to dialogue with Wrex 🤣🤣🤣
Also as far as the Hair thing with Jack. I mean it was 6 months but pretty sure she would have just slapped some Medigel on and bingo ponytail 👍🏻
Also great you finally noticed Mail Slot I mean you did get one on Mars that slid by but perfection is overrated 😁
Ade, I've got my priorities!!!😂
@@basicwitgirl I was laughing sooo hard 🤣🤗🧡
What difficulty are you on. Looks easy?
@@siyorikayoto6665 just normal!
I am so glad that you touched that.
Wrex in (Mass) Effect!
imagine being one girl and you're supposed to save your entire species, sheeeesh.....
It's the future. They could stimulate hair growth. They've had over 100 years of men's hair regrowth products R&D
Ahhhh, yes you remember ERCOTs little problem. We managed to keep power, luck of the draw. Others weren't so lucky 😢. Hope your lights stayed on
57:27 whaaattaaaburger! I can't drink dr pepper from those big ass cups anymore, it's just too much. What did you have?
You really need to go back to Eden Prime. It creates some great character interactions that you are missing out on.
KAIDAN FIRST, THEN EDEN PRIME
Garrus´s "oh crap" gets me every time and everybody else just boringly state the obvious and say "bomb", still Garrus and Liara are my prime choices for Sur´kesh, just so many funny scenes with those. although Javik got some funny lines too ^^. seriouly u didnt talk to Wrex or Kirrahe, u missed out on some pretty funny lines in the talk with Wrex.
LOL, the guy is her dead husbands brother, so if they have kids they will be half brothers/cousins :O
Not unheard of in the past, especially where men die much earlier than the women.
And in any case, so what?
haha nooo you did not go and talk to wrex with the OGs!!
You missed your chance to talk to Wrex. Interesting and funny conversation, too bad.
You should have done Eden Prime before Sur'kesh. The nem companion has some very interesting lines there.
Gotta get Kaidan first!
The zipper makes Bad Girl sense
That even Miranda the rah-rah Cerberus cheerleader, has parted ways with the organization, says something
Alliance troopers talk about Cerberus doing bad stuff. Basic: dances.
topless? no. dat ahz chaps? yeah. again, Bad Girl logic
you're getting these side quests
Aria has a separate DLC concerning Omega.
yeah the game is gonna make you wait for Kaidan. I did try to warn you.
Don't forget the Jondam Bau mission on the Citadel. For Srs. Srsly. That one CANNOT wait for Kaidan. It'll be gone by then.
So when ME3 gets something right, I will say so. The Krogan Genophage arc is one of those things. Now, consider what this situation would be like if Wrex hadn't survived Virmire.
So you want to throw the Dalatrass out the airlock. Heh. That's funny.
yeah, Wrex has always had biotics
The Shadow Broker species is called Yahg.
mail slot song
yes, that's the thing.
Maybe Jack used her biotics to her hair grow? IDK 🤷♂️
It's the future, no doubt it involved Mass Effect fields.
"Mass Effect for Hair" maybe.
@Cheepchipsable we gotta get in on the business now. I'll try figure out how to use Mass Effect fields to regrow hair, you work on the business model. We're gonna be rich. 😂😅
You should get the blood dragon armor
BWG, entertaining👍🎉✌️
Alright Lola😂
Is this live?
Nope! a pre-recorded let's play! but we do "premieres" so we can watch together and chat live!
Opened it at 1045 just give a like cause i wont be able to watch live
thank you!!!
Wrex! LFG 👏
OUR BOY IS BACK!!
if you use smg, besides sniper, get the bloodpack punisher on the citadel. maxxed out its a beast.
Hey stop playing with story difficulty xD 1 body shot kill from a viper, that should tell you everything xD
it's normal difficulty! I think you're forgetting that I already have a lot of maxed out perks for my tact cloak, ammo, and other things that add to sniper damage!
@@basicwitgirl My bad, it looked so easy. Higher difficulties are fun tho xD
@@dannyuk1523 exactly, enemy bullets should hurt instead of biting like a mosquito. But everyone has their preference.
