    Hi Es, so happy to hear about your move! May you be able to start many new close friendships, with the community, Rabbi's, Rebbetzen's and friends of the Shul and Neighborhood. Away to learn and see what families can teach you is by living nearby and sharing the Shabbat meals, and holidays with the Shul. Lots of Hatzlacha! rochel (from Israel).

    Chabad is worldwide and they are so helpful if you are almost anywhere in the world. It’s like one big family.

    Congrats on your move!
    I used to live in a big city, and in a Jewish community.
    I was born in the city.
    I now live in a country town and have done so for the past 15 years.
    I just prefer country living.
    Chabad comes to visit me, and they also visit other Jews who live in rural and regional areas.

    I vote for making a beautiful bookshelf with these books, and eventually passing them down to your children. They represent an important and pivotal time in your life. :)

    Sounds like you're finding your groove. I'm so happy for you. In Judiasm there's a thing to learn something 101 times and particularly chabad likes to accumulate Jewish books so you may want to keep them. Much success in your continued journey!

    Mazel tov on the move!!! I believe you will learn the most by marrying. Will have an extended family for holidays and shabbats and just overall how to live as a Jewish person at home rather than just synagogue based Judaism. Judaism is more home based. I am a single convert for 10 years and have no one to learn home Judaism or spend Shabbats or holidays with other than shul.

      @@frmmetojew Whats your opinion about how blacks are treated in Israel who came are Israel Lost tribes descendentes?

    • @taltalim18
      @taltalim18 Рік тому +1

      @@mariaseidi4023 If You’re referring to the Beta Yisrael from Ethiopia Hacham Rabbi Ovadia Yosef זצ״ל the former Sephardi Chief Rav of Israel made a p’sak din in the 80’s that they are Jews and in 2019 the Israeli Rabbinate officially accepted that ruling. Regarding other communities it really is case specific and depends whether or not they have only married other Jews, have been keeping Jewish law according to the Torah both written and Oral (Talmud) as a community etc. The problem is that most of the lost tribes have over a millennia been divorced from Torah Halakhic Judaism and intermarriage has been widespread this rendering the communities no longer Jewish. There have also been many descendants of Anusim that upon discovering that an grandmother or great grandmother was a descendant of Sephardic Jews and or maybe spoke Ladino, they themselves decided to convert according to Jewish Law in Israel.
