Could I ask you what do you think about modest clothing regarding working out? I am finally about to join the army and I'm finally able to be a cheerleding which I have been waiting my whole life for and now....Judaism found me and it's like I feel completely lost.

I'm not sure if you have a video about it, if so I'd be grateful if you could send me to it but I was wondering how your first reached out to a rabbi about converting? Or how did you first heard of judaism? I'm considering it, but I'm pretty lost about it, I don't even know what synagoge I could go to, because there's so many differents sects and I'm scared of getting into something that doesn't fit me

2 years…congrats sis I’m 8 years in still nothing. I’m wondering from a Kabbalistic level if spending a full 7 days in the Sukkah finishes conversions quicker. Just a theory I’m working on.

Hey, I just wanted to say you’re probably in a completely different place now you might already know this, but it is absolutely a commandment for us to love every Jew, not only including converts, but especially converts and furthermore, if a person is to hurt a converts feelings or an orphan or widow this is very scary for a Jew because it’s says Hashem loves us more then others and listens to our prayers even quicker then non converts/orphans/widows . So if we were to cry to hashem because of someone hurting our feelings the person better be ware because we have a direct call to hashem 😊 (according to the Torah you are considered an orphan even if you only list one parent . - my dad passed so I am an orphan. Also, we need to be so careful with converts (my mom is one) that it is forbidden to remind a convert of his being a convert for the next 7 generations!!! So if anyone doesn’t accept you it is nothing but an avera, a sin. Much love ❤ Riva

It's sad some people feel the need to criticize what someone else is doing and nit pick and micromanage someone when they are not there with you and most importantly are not you. Please don't change who you are ever for anyone else! 💝💝💝

Your point is perfect. "Can I be myself?" Thank you! I love Judaism I never want it to turn into something that feels forced, tired, or "off" to me and who I am. I am emailing and calling modern Orthodox Rabbis currently, but I also want to talk to one or two Conservative rabbis before I make my decision. I would already know but it's been hard first finding out which Rabbis are MO vs more traditional Orthodox and I'm currently working Friday night which I need to stop doing in order to go to shuls. I miss celebrating Shabbat so much and will be taking to boss about needing a schedule change!

Hello. I just want to make something clear. All Jewish people are not Israeli, and not all Israeli are Jewish. Being Israeli is a nationality. Anyone can be Israeli and not be Jewish. They are two different things. Yes, jews have original roots from ancient israel but its not from the modern-day Israel. Those are two different things too, lol.

I was born Jewish and know that Judaism is a VERY difficult religion; however, the benefits of living part of a community and celebrating Shabbat and the holidays is amazing. I really commend you on your journey, it is nothing short of amazing. I work at Chabad and we have quite a few converts and they are welcomed with warmth. I would say there's nothing wrong with taking a step back and taking a breath (or two) as the process is arduous. I do that in all areas of life that are challenging and it's normal. But one of the points of an orthodox conversion is to prove you want it badly enough. DON'T GIVE UP HOPE! If you are not feeling support in your community, go to another (I'm appalled at the thought of people laughing at you--how utterly disgusting). Take some time, do some soul searching, continue to be patient and have faith--it will happen for you. But please join a community that will embrace you with open arms and will love and respect you for YOU and your process. Your journey deserves all the respect and awe for what you are doing is so difficult. You are absolutely lovely and I am sending good thoughts your way.

I understand the pressure you're feeling, I understand the challenge, the pain... But honestly if you want to be Jewish you have to fight for it, it might just be H' testing you to see how true you are with your conversion. When things get hard what are you going to do? You're going to stick to being Jewish or are you going to go back to your old ways? Jews have been in exile for how many years? Did they leave H'? Holocaust, slavery, Spanish inquisition... etc they were or are hated by probably most of the world and they don't stop being Jewish. From what I understand the closer you get to conversion the harder it will get! Im not sure if you already have a yetzer hara or not but once you're Jewish it will only get harder. That's why it's so hard to be Jewish, you live in a box like they say, no matter what you have to keep kosher, you have to keep Shabbos, you have to fast etc. Once you're Jewish there is no going back. Right now you can take a break once you're Jewish you cant and if you do then you'll be judged for it. You've been in it for 2 years and you have the rest of your life hopefully till 120 to follow all the commands. So maybe think if this is really for you and if it is then keep going and don't let anything or anyone discourage you. It's not okay for people to laugh or look down at anyone specially a convert but it's also not okay to make a video talking lashon hara about other Jews. Even if it's the truth. You should know this at this point of your conversion. I am also in the process of conversion, I have been learning for 2 years and Im pushing to take another step and attend shul every week. I already keep kosher, already dress modest, from head to toe. You have to cover your chest, the ideal top is the one that covers your collar bones. I hope you find the strength to keep going if this is the right thing for you and the most important thing is to DAVEN to H' he knows what's in your heart and he hears you.

I had the absolute worst experience at my university's Chabad, along with other Jewish students at my school. Please be careful when approaching this group, as they adhere to beliefs that schism off from mainstream Orthodox Judaism (such as extreme devotion to Schneerson, with some even believing that he is the messiah). From what I've experienced, people from Chabad also tend to be unkind towards converts, interfaith families, LGBTQ, etc.

I love that I’m converting to a religion with so many different backgrounds and ethnicities 💗. I have always felt the same about Jesus. I’ve always believed there is 1 God. Jesus being God and him praying to God and the trinity always confused me and didn’t seem right. Tbh Judaism isnt just about being religious, it’s having a relationship 💗.

0:14 the single bw anthem in the background. Imagine talking about blks doing something stereotypical to make us not be taken seriously WHILE HAVING YOUR SMOKE DETECTOR ON IN THE BACK WHICH EVERYONE LAUGHS AT BLKS AND DEEMS US AS LAZY BC OF! I wanted to love this video because feel the same. But I can say im not being hypocritical. I get my single bw azz on a chair and replace mines. Put effort in all of the things making us not look polished as a community. That would be like me doing a video on blk ppl that dont have car insurance while sitting in my car with an expired tag.

In mu opinion, surviving as a Jew today and in the future from whichever community is essential. The Prophets and Sages spoke of a Jew in a distant future alive and well, indicate of our existence. The sole idea is to remain.
