Someone once said: “If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough.” Look how simply and clearly Sifu Lam explains the concept of Huen Sau - from finger to shoulder - it’s simple to understand when Sifu Lam explains it. You can tell he really understands what he’s talking about. This is actually the first video I ever watched of one of Sifu Lam’s seminars - it was a much shorter version, originally shared by Cranes Production. This is the video/lesson that first made me want to go and train with him at his school - Sifu Lam is (obviously) an exceptional teacher and coach. Thank you for sharing these videos. Nothing beats training in-person at the school, but all of the DVDs, videos and lectures are incredibly helpful and really help my understanding. Shoutouts to all the students who train at Sifu Lam’s school - hope to see you all lots in 2024
I'm pumped to watch this. 😁✅ Huen to me is GAANG and QUAN, we go outside, inside, and back outside. To me. Obviously at the lower level it's a way to go around. But once we get HUEN, it's a flow in and out of the forearm. ㊙️☑️💯and not to make it so simple. The act of feeling force and letting it go is also key with an EASY HUEN. ☑️💯
“Huen Sau makes your action more perfect” it is true, and not only you but also your training partner. My sifu often used huen sau to me when we were doing chi sau. He asked me “why can I always do a huen sau to you?”. At that time I didn’t know why. But now I’ve figured out. When your partner is not chasing center, you can do a huen sau easily😉

It works like a charm.
I trying to figure out the huan mission is to off Center the person CL before it can be smooth too ?
@@MARS-ob7eg You can execute a smooth huen sau as you control your opponent's center line.
Yes. Definitely.

Yes, he's funny.
Most kung fu teachers speak poor English. Some terribly poor. Some spoke none, like Cheng Man Ching. But they managed to produce outstanding students.
Yeah you need abc teachers like Kevin lee, Adam chan and randy Williams
