I loved Psyduck but I hated how Misty treated it. She was always so angry at it (some of that anger not being warranted) only liked when it benefitted her and had multiple chances to let it go if it was so unreliable to her but chose not to and leave it in this love hate relationship. Okay so hear me out on this, I got this idea from a UA-camr and thought it was interesting. What if Psyduck actually evolved into Golduck in that one episode? It became much more powerful and capable but also smarter. Misty loved this change but Golduck thinks about their relationship and how problematic it could be at times. This could lead him to not really listen to Misty anymore doing it's own thing like lounging, basically becoming like Charizard. Misty would be infuriated by this and they would frequently bicker with each other. But in time they would realize the faults both of them made and form a stronger bond because of it. Those are just rough ideas I had that I think would've been interesting to see. Overall I still love Psyduck and it's most recent appearance in Sun and Moon with how mellowed out Misty is about it. This was a quacktastic class today professor. Just like bulbasaur he was at the point of evolution but too much of a iconic character to change
Always a fan of a Billy Madison reference, thanks!
I just thought I'd throw an idea I heard out there.
That's a very cool idea, it would have definitely given Misty more of a purpose in Johto
@@ProfessorAlexSilver Definitely. That's one of the main reasons like it. It gives Misty something she has to go through instead of her just coasting around with Togepi in her arms.
When psyduck gets a headache, he is no joke like mewtwo
Mewtwo lifts and slams Gary's pokemon to a wall
Psyduck 5:52
How in games we increase affection : patting pokemon and making them eat pokeblocks.
How misty increases affection : beating and slapping psyduck and shouting on regular basis.
I've been waiting for this!!
Same here :) I've been meaning to tackle Psyduck forever
Thanks for the video! I love Psyduck!
Any time 😀
Amazing video. Psyduck is cool. Misty basically treated it nearly like a last resort, but could still win.
Thanks!!!
@@ProfessorAlexSilver You're welcome.
Welp, the main characters said goodbye for good, but you were correct about Psyduck reappearing a few more times.
20 years and psyduck still can't get over it's hydrophobia or inability to swim for a few minutes without floaters.
He never stops trying 😁
Idk why but that Golduck fake out is hilarious to me
I always was hoping for a spin-off series that was set 15 years in the future where misty and psyduck end up getting married and raise a family. It would be more of a drama where the show tackles obstacles of adulthood and raising a family
Is Misty also a Psyduck in the future?
Its funny how psyduck became misty’s signature pokemon 😂
Word of advice to everyone, never give Psyduck a headache
I second that
