Thanks that was a very helpful video. It did not work on Shark vacuum exactly as you explained. I could not take it apart, without unscrewing two additional screws located at the back of the wheel location. These two screws do not connect the wheel to the body. The additional screws have to be removed so that the panel came apart. Either you have a different Shark vacuum, or I do , but they look exactly the same. So in summary I had to take out eight screws , not 6 screws. - -. Just thought I'd let you and any additional viewers who have the same problem as I did. Thanks for the help full videos.

Hey have a NV370 31 Shark navigator. No clogs and sucks fine. Bottom making screeching noise when bent down to vacuum spin only. Not when flipped over to check the roller. Yes roller spins. And only on left (looking down where motor is)
Option of buying all bottom or roller/belt. In your best guess..steps I should follow? Since only screeches when flipped over to vac

¡I knew those rollers were hiding some screws underneath…. Thanks for the info!

The screws used in my NV360 are not regular or Phillips. They look more like hex bolts but those bits don't work either since it appears to have a metal dot in the middle of them.

Update. I figured it out. You need a 6 point torx bit T15. These are considered lock bolts and not quite sure why Shark chose these other than apparently they don't want the average person removing that plate.

@@SusiFroggyPorter Thanks for this comment, as I'm dealing with the same problem and came here to see if there was info about what kind of screwdriver I needed. I guess this is an updated model from the one in the video. Silly change to make on the company's part, in my opinion.

Good video! It helped me to disassemble the brushhead on my Shark Navigator Professional model UV 420 26 (white, just like yours), which I trash picked yesterday. Earlier this year, I trash picked a Navigator model NV22L (lavender), which I still have. I also found a bag of attachments in the dumpster with the NV22L. They have compatible brush rolls! But both of them have the non-belt side black end piece melted into the brushhead housing. Hopefully, I can make one good brush roll out of two bad ones. I can probably extract the melted end piece out. But the two black end pieces are NOT identical. A whole used replacement brush roll is $20 on eBay. I may have to order a bag of those bearings for $10, as well as a bag of those black end pieces (if available). But even if I did, are these two vacuums worth it? Or should I just take them to the Goodwill for electrical appliance salvage?

Great video.. is there a video on how to replace the motorized floor nozzle? I bought the replacement but no instructions were included and I can’t find my manual for my Shark Navigator 358.. thanks!

Mine has starbit screws that are difficult to remove. I do not think my UV440 Shark Navigator Liftaway Deluxe vaccuum came with starbit screws because that is too weird. It looks like you are using a Philips screwdriver. Any thoughts?

I'm having an issue with those bolts/screws as well. Definitely not flat head or Phillips but hex it's also don't seem to work because there's a metal dot in the center of it so the doesn't even go all the way down inside the head of them.
