- It's been a while since I last uploaded. This video is about my experience applying for Stipendium Hungaricum. Currently, I do not have the final decision from Tempus but once I do I will upload another video. Please let me know in the comments if you guys want to know what I wrote in my motivation letter and if you have any other questions!

I have been getting a lot of questions regarding the maximum number of students and I found that not all universities show how many students they accept so it might not show up for some majors/universities!
Also, I have been asked to make a video about the application process but it is really self-explanatory on the Stipendium Hungaricum website!

remember the selection order really matters. your 2nd application will be considered if there is any remaining slots in the course you selected as your second. so select a 2nd option wisely

I made a stupid mistake. I clicked a link to one of the university ads that mentioned the scholarship and started applying immediately. I was even in the middle of writing my motivation letter until I realized, not all the degrees are covered by the scholarship. You need to check that the degree you want to apply for is funded by the scholarship.
How do I write motivational letter for two two different subject that I choose? Should I emphasis on the first priority?
Then in the online application can is it okay to not press submit if you haven't attached all the documents needed?
is it really a must to have ielts or toefl score? i currently don’t have those, then can i still apply for it?
Pls how do you submit the motivation letter, as a PDF file or you just type it into the provided space?
Please i have a question is it possible to change a course within the faculty for example from optometry to nursing in the university

Stipendium Hungaricum.
You have to upload all the required documents to the platform. You will find a section called “Motivation Letter”, where you can upload both programs’ (if you chose 2) motivation letters separately. Then you can (need to) upload a PDF version also to the “documents” part.
I know it is a late answer but it might help someone in the future.

What if you forget to add salutation and yours sincerely on ur motivation letter but u have good undergraduate score, do I stand a chance?

Did you apply for the scholarship only or did you have to apply for the university in addition/ separately?
In applying for the scholarship you also apply to two universities you would like to go to
Love you all, so I would like to ask the question; I hit submit button accidentally and I immediately withdraw it due to it is not finished and revised yet does this have an affect on second submission or there are no consequences as well
Not at all! Unless you don’t have multiple accounts that you applied for the scholarship, it will not affect your application. Or else they wouldn’t put an option to withdraw it, would they? ☺️ But don’t forget to submit it again when you are done!

Hello Akari, I have a question. This is my first time applying for the non degree program. In the application website (after we chose 2 universities), there is only one tab for the essay. Should we write two of universities name on top of the essay? or later we can input/have a choice to another essay? Thank you!

@@starlight520_ Someone from the other video of Stipendium Hungaricum told me "You have to make 2 motivation letter one on the original motivation letter task bar and other must upload with the documents. Its clearly mentioned in the application guide, please download it", and I did that too

Hi! Thanks for your comment I think that's a great score however, I cannot tell you if that will get you the scholarship or not as I do not know what exactly SH looks for in a scholar. All I can say now is the best of luck!

Hi! Thank you for watching. I will answer this as best as I can and if you don't understand let me know, I will try to help you. So basically when you browse the Universities on the DreamApply page you will also see a list of the programs that they offer. You then click your desired program and it will be under the overview of the program.
I did search the DreamID system but it was not clear where exactly I could find the number of international students accepted annually by this course 😅.

I wonder what you wrote in the motivation letter. Do you know how much English proficiency affects getting the scholarships? Even if it is required IELTS for 5.5, if I get about 6.0, is that okay or I should get higher score?

Hello! Thank you for watching my video! Honestly, I am not too sure about that... I am in the same situation as you are. I am accepted by both the Universities I applied to and am still waiting on the results from Tempus. However, as I said in the video, some people have gotten declined by the Tempus Foundation and were not able to get the scholarship. I'm sorry I am not able to give you a concrete answer. We just have to hope for the best!

Hi! I applied to ELTE and they had a math test and an interview! It was pretty easy but I think you should really study the material they provide you with.

I do not agree with the part that you need to give up any science major.
I finished my high school 10 years ago and I was more into humanities. I went to the local law school and worked as a lawyer for several years in my country. Just this year I decided to change my career and I applied to computer science bachelor degree via Stipendium Hungaricum. 😁 Now I am CS freshman .
Thank you so much for your comment! I understand where you are coming from however, you graduated high school 10 years ago and just started pursuing CS now. In my opinion, you are definitely more mature and prepared mentally for the hard work that is yet to come unlike students who are fresh out of high school. I know someone (intl student) who tried pursuing a science major in Hungary and dropped out because of how difficult it was. I am not saying do not pursue a science major, I am simply saying that it might require a little bit more effort for the students without a background in science. I hope this makes sense! @@quratdelulu Depends on the university, but the important thing is that you have to do self-learning, you have to start your own IT education in addition to the CS curriculum since if at the end of the program you do not have any experience, internships it will be very hard to find a job. CS program does not give you practical skills so you have to learn a lot by yourself. And yesss a lot of math, but it is fine, there are khanacademy, brilliant, youtube, and a lot of different resources to learn math.

@Spirit Life Hub ELTE. Yes, there was a math test. Even with my 10 years old math knowledge, I managed to get minimum to pass 🤣 of course, and I am not proud of it.
