  • This time, we will introduce a technique to make a plum blossom-like garnish using carrots.
    These are traditional Japanese cutting techniques called "MUKIMONO" in Japan.
    It is a decoration to color Japanese food and is often used in SAMUKICHI videos.
    - Plum Blossom Carrot - (BAIKA NINJIN)
    Plum Blossom Carrot is a carrot garnish cut like a plum blossom.
    These are usually used from January to March, but can be used all year round if used for celebrations.
    Plum blossoms actually bloom in the cold season, so cut them plumply to soothe your heart.
    Plum blossom carrots that are shaped like twisted petals are called “Nejiri Ume”.
    This plum blossom carrot is mainly used to color soups and simmered dishes, sushi decoration idea.
    This is one of the essential decorations for Japanese cuisine that enjoys the four seasons.
