Great to see the ongoing progress as you rapidly move towards being watertight. Once the building is fully watertight and insulated - preferably with a temporary wood burning stove for a bit of heat - it starts to be easier to work in more comfort inside as you slowly fit the house out at your own pace....... but so gratifying to see it coming along. Also good to see your new 'toy'.... that's going to prove invaluable in the long term. Thanks again for sharing your time with us.......
Your series has held me enthralled! Your own framing, finishing boards from your own felled trees, three large buildings from the ground up, the green house, extensive grading, large garden, coop, your many animals, the vehicle rebuilds -- whew! What intrigues me most about your series are what I at first assumed were steel upstairs ceiling-beam splicing plates, which actually are what appear to be black-painted fiberboard or plywood. You've hit upon perhaps a new method of producing beams/joists more cost efficiently -- longer spans with ordinary 2x8s instead of the usually larger, more expensive one-piece ones! May I respectfully ask would that splicing material work out over those particular load points?
So good to see a video. Great stuff happening at the ranch now. Things will become so much easier for you all. The boys have great skills now and it shows in their work. So lovely to see the progress guys and that doser is a monster. You can do your roads with it too. God bless guys . Sending. Love from Down Uñder
Fun to watch the whole family working together even the pets share their time to supervise the hoomans do making sure everyone's moving lols... i wanted to join...
Don't stop now I think is the right phrase. I see people winding around and still getting things done.... amazing.... nice for a subscriber to reach out to you all. Good hearts are still to be found
Yeah, the folks here already said most of what I wanted. But I love to watch a family who remind me of my own in the past. When the brothers and wives visit all just get to doing something useful. Love your Dogs.
I found when we had two engineers and only one nail driver, things went south before north was notified. Good help going there as everyone grabs something and does something with it even if its wrong, your moving forwards. Nice old dozer, looks like it has time going forward on it before something makes it not fun to own. They have so many filters on them that a months wages won't cut it for replacement costs. No wonder their yellow, so is gold and it feels like thats what your buying when you buy all the fluids so good luck getting a full month before "Kitty" wants a fluid swap. I say swap because I never throw away any of the juice I take out of them. Must still have a few nickels left as the dogs are fat and not missing. Keep it going cause when its not freezing there, its so hot that you add cold water to standing water to cool it off as its too hot to drink from where it sets. Your all doing so fine.
so cool to see the whole family working together. A lot of great progress! Score on the cupboards find! well done! Keep the adventure going. thanks for taking us along!
The older ones can be better then the new ones due to the lack of computers. Some good lights added to it to not loose out to the shorter days and you have yourself a powerful tool.
Just be careful plowing snow with a dozer especially on a hill, they go sideways faster than you can blink. We used to bolt ice growers on for the winter. You definitely got enough machine now. I'm jealous.
WOW WOW WOW! What a score you had down in Arizona! I need to do that myself. Looks like all they need is a good cleaning. That frig is massive! Great that you have helpers to get a lot done in a short while. Should take some of the cold curse of the new building. What a blessing! Hope your week is highly productive and everyone stays safe and healthy.
Thank you so much for the 25 min. wish you could make them all that long. I know it's hard to do that when your all working. Good to see Brody back helping out, I know you really like having all the kids pitchin in. Even the dogs were supervising. Little pup ain't to little anymore, they shore like to hang out together. Your really coming along, don't be such strangers.👍😀😀👍😀
Amazing update and progress. Having all the family there to help really gets things moving. I'm excited to see what your manage with the dozer, it's going to be a really handy tool.
Awesome to see family helping out, the dozer is awesome . Man y'all scored on those cabinets they are nice. Hope y]all had a awesome Thanksgiving take care stay safe god bless
So good to see the whole family together, no words can express! It’s been how long?? Sooo much happening on the ranch, nice to see. I’m happy for you guys.
Good to see you back. I was beginning to get a little concerned. Wonderful to see the building taking shape too. Things should go faster from now on - you have really done it the hard way the last while.
When you build your own house or whatever it’s a lot of hard work. I’ve been there and done that. It just keeps getting better and better. Problem is now that Terrell has a new toy, it’s going to be hard to keep him on the house.
Good to see you back on the net, you can't beat a good dozer and look forward to seeing what you can accomplish with it. You'll be so happy once you've got yourself all closed in and insulated because man it looks cold outside we don't get cold temperatures anything close to that and right now with in the middle of Summer so stay warm stay try and have an awesome Christmas
That machine will be a lifesaver in the snow. If you have a major snow event pickup trucks have their limitations. And no matter what it's always nice to have something heavier when you get stuck and have to recover a machine or a truck. Just put her in 3rd and track the miles.....
A dozer is a good investment for around your homestead. Thousand uses so it will come in handy many days. You're making good progress on the house and shop. The items you purchased were a real bargain.
I'm so happy that life will be much easier for y'all now I can't wait to see how it will look in summer..we know spring is MUD season up there 🙏it works out well. Seen few homesteaders use lawn cloth underlayment to help prevent mud problems I guess every year it gets easier. Yea great fishing pond raising your own fish great idea..
There is a plant called Tuba- Tuba fruit it grows in the Philippines, there it's used as fence line (highly toxic and highly poisoness (sorry for spelling), but they say 2.5 acres produces like 500 to 1000 gallons of diesel every 6 months. All the information is on the internet, this plant will produce enough diesel if You can get it to grow that far North
I hope y'all had a happy Thanksgiving. We missed you. Glad you're back safe and sound. Just a few suggestions, Are y'all going to sand the high spots on the floor? Also are you going to caulk the seams to cut down on squeaking?
Looks like them grousers are worn down quite a ways... Ill have a vid out soon where me and my buddy welded on new grousers... I had the flat loader pads with triple grousers but they were only 1/4" tall and worthless in Idaho mud and snow! Only cost me $100 for the steel bar and some welding wire....
guys you kicked it with everything ya got so cheap. hell I went the same way with rehab stuff ,and it still cost me eight grand for it all. so ya made the golden door on that one. now on too the next pressing projects.
brilliant to see the whole family pulling together....must be grand having them all home at this time of year too.

I am not sure how I landed on your channel, but it is right up my alley. Really enjoyed the video! Subscribed and binge watching older content.

Glad to see you back at it. Sure miss the updates when you're not around.
Great addition to the homestead! Best of luck with it.

I JUST bought a John Deere 350 dozer for my place! LOVE dozers! Cant wait to see some vids of you running it!
Just be careful plowing snow with a dozer especially on a hill, they go sideways faster than you can blink. We used to bolt ice growers on for the winter. You definitely got enough machine now. I'm jealous.
So awesome! So excited for your new addition of a dozer 😁 also, your puppy is growing like a weed! ♡♡ love to see all of the progress being made!
Wicked nice machine! It sure will be helpful! Looking great inside! Glad you get to have family all together!

That's a very nice piece of equipment. I operated them for years. enjoy it.
A dozer is a good investment for around your homestead. Thousand uses so it will come in handy many days. You're making good progress on the house and shop. The items you purchased were a real bargain.

I love your music.
Congrats on the dozer! that thing is gonna help you get a lot of work done!
Those Cabinets were a great buy for $250.That dozer is defiantly a nacessety for your property.
Make a good snow plow in the winter
I'm so happy that life will be much easier for y'all now I can't wait to see how it will look in summer..we know spring is MUD season up there 🙏it works out well. Seen few homesteaders use lawn cloth underlayment to help prevent mud problems I guess every year it gets easier.
Yea great fishing pond raising your own fish great idea..
Organized chaos.....absolutely the best !
I live in Phoenix and was wondering if the cabinets were bought there as I need some myself

Older dresser make nice sink bases and are cheaper and look nice
Widen the road into your place with that thing!
It would be nice to get a walk around of the JD 350 dozer, any chance? Great video.
The dozer will help tremendously with the road for the winter and spring
I hope y'all had a happy Thanksgiving. We missed you. Glad you're back safe and sound. Just a few suggestions, Are y'all going to sand the high spots on the floor? Also are you going to caulk the seams to cut down on squeaking?
Yes I took a plane and leveled out the high spots.
damn good deal!
...that should do the job. stay safe and enjoy..
With a dozer and heaths excavator, you two ,can go to town on the big projects now
With no exterior siding, Isn't the insulation going to get wet if there's blowing rain or snow?
Yes it would. We have put up a tyvek type of material on the exterior while were waiting to get the siding
I would hate to see the 1st big repair bill on that
Yes me too.
I can't wait to see it. These trousers are 35 mm so they could use some add ons
@@bustedwagonranch4546 Terrell my email address is HiddenValleyHomestead18@gmail.com if you would like some pics. It was cheap and easy...
Nice dozer.More videos!!!!
Thinking old Barn doors should make a comeback.
Coming together !
Will the upstairs be living space ?
Yes we thought it would be great to have as a place for family to stay when they come up
Fabulous your visitors will love it.
Good move.
sprip and stean there will look great.
The difference between you and your neighbor is your family helps. Good thing to see these days.
what is walking on the hillside at around 8;15 at first I though a cow but I think maybe a deer?
I believe you can dig a pond with a dozer, I think it would be easier if you used your backhoe or an excavator.
there is no way yall are southerners! we southerners could not move that fast if our shirts were on fire..........g
🙏🙌
This should solve your snow plowing problem, no? Looks like your a good dozer hand.
i keep forgetting to ask how old are the kids, i seen three boys was one in school?
22, 20, 17, and 15 they grow up amazingly fast.
👍👍👍👍
FIRST!
Lots of toys, but no house to live in!! You may die of old age waiting for that house, as long as you keep buying toys!
guys you kicked it with everything ya got so cheap. hell I went the same way with rehab stuff ,and it still cost me eight grand for it all. so ya made the golden door on that one. now on too the next pressing projects.
Hiya
You could probably earn $1000/day with that dozer.
sorry for spelling, stain.
strip.
👍👍
