Have been following your channel for a few months now and just love your video’s. You and your family certainly play a big part in this build, great craftsmanship on the structure just hope the weather improves for you.
I want to thank you for the entertainment you provide. I really like the way your family all works together. The example you set is very good for families to see. I can tell you take pride in doing things the right way. Keep up the good work.
Love you all!! Things happen for a reason and putting in a man door and window on right side of shop is a good idea. It works. I love your determination and grit. Praying for you and your family. Keep safe, keep warm, keep the vision, and God bless.
A custom sign at the beginning of the 3 mile drive way? 500 dollar custom tow from land owners we appreciate your business! Lol keep up the great work!
Your kids jeep is looking great, love the attention he put into painting the frame. hope before he puts the body on he details the transmission and engine first. This is a classic vehicle that he could keep his whole life and trust me he will appreciate it much more when he's 60. Saying that cause i'm still sorry I ever sold my first jeep!
Loved the shot at the start of the video with the deer's going up the hill and the one at the back kicking the one in front in the butt to move it along faster😊
Thanks for taking the time out to video your progress. Hope for your sake that the garage door arrives next week. We live in the mountains of Georgia, and right now we feel your pain re: freezing snow and frigid temps. Like that your entire family is involved. Like others have commented, if this country had allot more of that togetherness we would not be in the mess we are in now. God Bless.
Your family inspires me when I start feeling like my life is hard and I get lazy. You seem like great people, the kind of people that makes the world a better place. I really like how you’ve stuck to the timber framing, even with its challenges. That is May favorite as well. You all do a great job, and I could watch your videos everyday, thanks for sharing your journey, I look forward to the summer videos.
Your homestead is looking so good. When you do your counter tops if they need sanded their is I guy next door but he is messy his wife says love your adventure stay safe and God bless
You all are awesome to watch how you make it where you are and how everyone works on the timber frame together. Thanks for telling more about yourselves and answering questions at the end of some of your videos. We now understand why you can’t post on a regular basis. Hopefully one day the Forest Service and the county might come together and do a better job of keeping the water out of road with better drainage and culverts and putting a nice stone base for you land owners up there. I guess there aren’t enough of you all yet to justify it. Boy is that road a mess in the winter and spring melt.
this is the first time I watched your channel....and I love it. The family teamwork and content in it was super....keep up the good work....you have a fan now
I was watching RPR a couple of weeks ago and saw some nice horses and cows across the road from him. It’s nice to know who owns them. Thanks for letting me know. Stay safe your doing great. I’m glad you raised the roof in the middle, it’s look great 👍.
Love seeing a hard working family work together! Good video this week. Was nice to hear a laugh from Terrell. We like seeing you all talk together at the end. My kids love watching as well. Keep up the good work.
We finally got some snow and guess it is suppose to flurry for the next few weeks. I am in Coeur d Alene Idaho, up in Northern Idaho. We are lacking in the snow too, so as much as I don't like it we needed it.
Looking great! I bet it’s nice having that shop closed up. My friend is building a house and his garage door is 4 months late. Funny that the road is “county maintained”, yet they never maintain it. It’d be nice to get gravel down on that thing!
Things are coming together. Love the ending when you answer questions it pulls the video together and there is no need to explain much as you are working. A good thing someone you know can pass on some knowledge to make it easier to do the counter tops.. Nice video thank you
I had thought alot about building our doors. I have done it before, both swinging and side rolling. On this set up I think a roll up door will work best.
it's lookin good guys. it takes a long time but isn't it going to be worth it. it looks like you guys get along well working together. i'm sure you wish it went faster but when paying for it as it goes it all take time. good job.
I, like many others, look forward to your videos. I cant imagine the inner strength you folks have to fight through all the issues, challenges, and "holy craps" you face. Watching you adapt and push on is heart-warming. I do have a question, and it regards "the shop". Since you are putting that huge garage door in place, I am assuming you may be bringing a large vehicle to work on, etc. if so, I dont remember there being a floor drain in the shop. If that is a "flat" floor, wont the melting snow, mud, etc build up? Love the ingenuity. Wish I could join you to help!
Your right. I do plan on bringing in cars and equipment as needed. Coming from southern Arizona I have never given thought to snow melting in a shop. I regret not putting in a floor drain in my flat shop
2nd.. We got Snow & Ice here in NW Alabama, too. This suppose to be the Sunny South not the Snowy South! I Hate Snow & Cold Weather!! Y'all Take Care & Stay Safe. ~ Carl & Judy Lamar County, ALABAMA. ~
Terrel should only wear fluorescent colors. Some hunter is going to mistake him for a Grizzly Bear! Could you point out where you are planning to place the the house. Sorry, if I missed that in a previous episode.
So great to have another visit from you! I really look forward to your postings and enjoy each visit. i agree that the window and man door make a lot of sense for the build. With only the one large garage door it should be easier to heat the shop as well. Question; With all the framing you are doing upstairs, is that where you are going to live or are you going to expand the house to include those rooms? Thanks for answering the question about the road. Hopefully the county or forest service will respond to the increased families living up there with you. Maybe even if they just straighten out a couple of the shar turns, or even gravel the road!
I JUST JOIN YOUR CHANNEL AND I JUST LOVE THE WAY YOU'RE FAMILY WORK TOGETHER I AM FROM A SMALL TOWN CALL COLUMBUS TEXAS AND WE HAVEN'T HAD ANY SNOW IN 4 LONG YEARS AND I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT WE WOKE UP TO SO MUCH AMAZING SNOW IT'S JUST BEAUTIFUL BUT I AM NOT USE TO THE 12 ARE 16 COLD OUTSIDE LOL YOU GOT SO MANY BEAUTIFUL SNOW PLEASE KEEP WARM AND SAFE OUTTHERE
I was stationed at Fort Bliss back in the 50s - one time it snowed about 3 inches and the whole base closed down - people didn't know how to handle the stuff
You can train your dog to leave the chickens alone. I trained my blue heeler to leave ours alone and he likes to kill anything that moves. Dogs generally like to please their people. You are certainly making headway on your building.👍
You can close it all by building a deal little set up in there and then just crude and on each side and then put a strip on the outside over it on each side and then when you're can get a door put in there then you just take that section out and put a Door in
I have a friend who makes heart valves and NASA parts. He has taken me under his wing and put me to work teaching me how to do some machining skills. With that I dont think you could know enough
Love watching your videos, I found you from red poppy ranch. I have a question for you. Did Heath and family move up there first and if so how far ahead of you are they in as much how many years have you lived there compared to red poppy.
Why not make your own shop doors? I doubt it would be beyond you guys. But you must have good reason not to do that but I can't think what that is. I'm still hanging out to see the body of the Jeep. I once tried to buy one of those, but they are damned expensive in Aussie.

Little at the time another task done ya it's winter as long that you're have a good wood stove you're got it made no worries and wood lol! Ya good show good life Take care be safe
Looks great as usual. Our chickens kicked back in to gear after taking a winter vacation. No snow here but they were down to 4-5 a day. Now back up to 12-15 a day. 24 hens, 10 under a year. Rest are older birds. Why no wrap or membrane under the windows?
@@bustedwagonranch4546 ok. I thought I saw in the video Ter nailed in the window then did wrap. You guys must have taken the window out and reinstalled after all the wrap. I'll go back to minding my own buisness. Lol. Dont y'all hate the UA-cam building inspectors. I do, yet I still asked the question. Smh. Carry on fine folks
Sorry. Videoing takes some time to do. With full time jobs and our projects we stay pretty busy. We also try to not put out repetitive content. We will keep trying to get video out to all of you.
Put some pork chops in your husband's stomach. He's shrinking bad. He's all skin and bones. haha🤩🤩🤩 You guys are doing a great job!!! May God Bless You.

Back in the day, barns had very tall and wide doors. They seem to last longer than the barn. You might consider making a set

Nice opening song. Music by? A music credit would be nice to know who I should be looking for and also as recognition from one artist to another...:)
The music comes from UA-cam. They only allow us to use their approved music on our stuff. It changes as your channel grows I'm told.
Woohoo!! Progress!! Looking great 😁
Why just one video a week?! We want more! Your neighbours across the street make it once in 3 days))

Why not put plywood over 2x4s first, the house wrap? just curious...
With the 1x10 exterior boards it's kind of overkill. Also it's hard to spend almost 35.00 a sheet on plywood or osb.
@@bustedwagonranch4546 Ah, makes sense.
Have u upgraded your solar system any? Heath at RPR talks highly of his new system and I was wondering.
We just put in some iron edison lithium iron phosphate batteries. They have made a huge difference. I wish we would have done this at the start.
do you put all the sealing tapes around the windows like I see some do
Thanks for sharing.
How close is your closest neighbor? Thought I seen a house in the distance in one of your videos
Watch Red Poppy Ranch and you will meet their neighbor and friends.
Great progress
Do u have a discount code for DoubleH boots?
I do not. I do know if you sign up for their emails I constantly, almost daily get discount offers. Some are super cheap on great boots
