Jordan Peterson School Visit Leads To POLICE Being Called!

- Clinical psychologist Jordan B. Peterson joins Piers Morgan Uncensored to tell the story of his visit to Britain's 'strictest headteacher' Katharine Birbalsingh's school, which resulted in complaints to the police.
Jordan first describes the school's environment when visiting and suggests he has never seen a more efficient way of learning, describing the way pupils closely followed the teachers who were teaching information at high speeds. He goes on to say that the people who describe Katharine as a 'dragon lady' are sorely mistaken.
Jordan then describes the incident that led to police being called on Katharine for allowing him to visit the school and he said it is solely down to "resentful narcissists".

"It's annoying when you help out the victims, because then there's no one to be narcissistically compassionate about" BRILLIANT!
Could you please explain what he meant by that? I have a rough idea, but I'm not sure I fully understand the remark.
@@anatomyotset Some narcissists use feigned compassion to put themselves on a pedestal towards others that don't display this compassion. It's about elevating themselves above others, not about the "victims" the claim to be so compassionate about. That's why they require people with a victim status.
That's this guy
@@beno2233 An excellent description. 👍🏻
@@anatomyotset go away
Children need boundaries, and she has that in place. Well done!
Even adults need boundaries, though they don't like admitting it for fear it makes them appear childish or immature. Security is a human psychological need and you're right that children absolutely need it. It's the next most important need to fill after food, shelter and water.
@@soullessdevice yeah I agree with you. Boundaries are important when applied correctly/properly. Cos it can limit creativity and fun when it's unnecessary. But then it is important that children should have boundaries especially at a young age, so they don't do too much silly things. (Ps: I'm not good at english, pardon ma grammar structure)
I think that it’s better to put it the other way around: children need to be told when they are doing the _right_ thing and encouraged to continue in that way. Too many schools (and parents) don’t really pay attention to children until they cross a line, and then it’s only negative attention; but if that’s the only way to get attention, they will constantly cross that line
Adults too. Big time.
Yes! I heard of a study done by a school that was considering whether they should spend the money to fence in the playground (this was a long time ago). They found that at school playgrounds without fences, the kids tended to huddle close to the building and only use a fraction of the grounds available to them. But kids at school playgrounds with fences tended to use the entire play area. What a concept! This is what we have forgotten about rules and boundaries. That's what they are for, to free people to maximally function within the spaces available to them. This flies in the face of the modern notion of freedom which is the ability to do whatever one wants. That's not freedom. That's chaos. And it's often enslavement to one's own urges, cravings, and whims with nothing at which to aim them. It's like flailing about in an open ocean with no boat, no compass or navigational instrument, and expecting to arive somewhere.
The teachers’ union are threatened by competent educators.
@@hothe65 um yes it IS relevant! Because if we challenge your loser WOKE ideas you union stands behind you because it is made up of teachers!
@@hothe65 Teachers unions cause so many problems in so many countries. In the US, it's close to impossible to sack incompetent teachers to the point that there have been multiple cases of said teachers receiving full pay for sitting in the staff room reading magazines. In the UK, the teachers union was the only group who refused opening schools up after the utterly nonsensical lockdowns.
@@hothe65 I never said that it wasn't, but the teachers union in the UK selfishly refused to reopen schools thereby blocking kids education despite protestation from parents. They're self-serving scum.
@@hothe65 I do not know where you live but it is not easy to remove incompetent teachers where I live. One reason is the subjectivity of the definition of incompetent by those in a position with the authority to remove the teacher.
@@hothe65 Just out of curiousity, how many of your co-worker teachers vote Labour?
Every educator in the country should be at her door to learn how to do the same thing. We'd leap forward in a generation.
Or possibly just keep our heads above water repairing the damage already done by the rotting system and gawd awful teachers we have at present.
The problem is most teachers are socialists or at the very least social liberals.
but they wont, because that would be the smart thing to do. it make no sense.
The only true Teacher is Jesus !
If those educators were interested in education they would but they're more interested in maintaining the status quo and protect bad teachers.
Criticism of this teacher is simply the noise of failing educators knowing their job security is at risk. And they should not have jobs.
Yup but make no mistake, the Left and their politics of personal destruction is what is driving this 'hate crime' and 'feelings led' garbage. It instills fear but most of all, it promotes obedience to a totalitarian ideology that is creeping EVERYWHERE in society. Peterson is absolutely right when he stated that its ostensibly used by narcissists to vent their hate on society and gives them a perverse sense of power.

I feel a bit conflicted about this. It is obviously true, but does that mean we should just put up with hate? The next step would be to just put up with bullies. I am myself, and I know many people, who have been the target of hate. We don't all have the strength to simply let it wash over us and some of us do need others to stand up for us. For a very long time, the "sticks and stones" and "boys will be boys" arguments have not really been good enough. So I agree with the statement, but no real alternative has been proposed.
@@simongross3122 I understand your point. What I believe and what Jordan probably believes is the faith we have in our own moral compasses to address true hate. Contrary to what the media would have you believe, if someone was being racist to another in public, I and many like me would immediately step up to defend them. I was a Trump supporter, one of the folks who is apparently racists. We already have the tools within us to do the right thing, we certainly don't need the government to do that for us, nothing good has ever come of that
@@TheDrunkHamster Yes, I agree. I don't think this is purely a black and white situation (please pardon the phrasing). It is far more nuanced. Fortunately people are also not purely left or right but many, perhaps like yourself, are also more nuanced. I believe that there are probably no absolutely right or wrong ways to think about this - because absolutes suck, and always fail at edge cases. It is annoying that the debate only ever shows one side pitted against another. And both sides come with their own baggage of questionable arguments. I can like one side or the other only on balance, but neither of them in total.
I admit that I didn't like Trump. But I like the Democrats even less. Trump was objectionable to me, but more right on some issues than wrong.
I feel that there should be something to assist those who are the target of hate, but I am at a loss to say what that assistance looks like. So, like JP, I can say that I think something is wrong, but I can't pin down what the solution is.
Anyway. Thank you for your polite response.

Jordan is a modern day Socrates. Socrates was prosecuted because of his religious ideas and political associations and this indicates how easily an ideal held dear by his fellow Athenians, the ideal of open and frank speech among citizens, could be set aside when they felt insecure.
Free speech doesn't and never has existed, if it did it would be a protected crucial important piece of Western Society and properly enforced with consequences for every business and citizen alike for those who break it. Guess what, that is not the case
Let's hope he doesn't meet the same end, eh? 😬
Peterson definitely ain't an atheist
Cause he didn't share anything idealistic he kept it to his personal, I don't know! I don't know!
Socrates would go around asking young men certain questions about things like existence and other philosophical topics, probably to get them to think. He was eventually accused of corrupting the youth, and was essentially told to leave and stop practicing philosophy. He chose to poison himself instead.

Can't wait for the full interview. And I'd love to see any politicial leader have a discussion with JBP about our current government led crisis.
Reported her for a "hate crime"! Come on people! Enough of these fools!
With no previous knowledge, I just watched "the video that made him famous" q.v. This great Headmistress is a visionary; I attended a convent prep./grammar school where such rules, manners and regulations were the norm. We stood, sat and walked in lines; everything was memorised, tested. Uniforms were indeed uniform even outside school. Everything was changing by 1960s/70s with theft and bullying affecting my children, teachers often scruffy, lazy and badly spoken, even swearing at pupils. Society begins with education.
I found with my children’s secondary school that the teachers weren’t invested in the pupils. So how can they expect the children to be invested in their lessons and the school as a community? This system just can’t continue anymore, especially when there are better educational models we could adopt.
Schools are prep for prison

‘Hate,’ as a category of crime, has got to be eliminated in British jurisprudence.
The fact that hate (which is something that cannot be proven) is designated a specific category of crime and is actionable by law, should be a cause for embarrassment to anyone engaged in the legal profession, as well a national embarrassment to all citizens of GB.
Always a joy to hear Dr. Peterson speak. And I have to admit Piers is starting to grow on me. Great interview!
