PS4 Dualshock 2 doesn't charge or overheats

Two Solutions which helped me to solve charging issue
Question mark on battery icon
Controller Heats when charging
No battery icon during charging
All this can be solved by changing port

the mother board charging chip has been damaged by fast charging and that is what is overheating, you need new mother boards or chips replaced

I have that problem and it was not solved changing the charge port. Any tutorial about changing the chip you are tlning about?

@@verjav never found anything, would need to know part number and have a hot air solder station

So my controller is doing the same thing but it still overheats below the R2 button and eventually switches off. So are you saying that the charging dock would solve this problem?
