Most mods that make bosses more difficult are utter bullshit, that rely on sped up animations and bloated health. This thing right here is a masterpiece. And it adds several strategic elements, making you think long term, not just attack for attack. People say you make it look easy. You don't. You do it flawlessly, and my jaw is on the floor, BECAUSE of how hard it looks, and how well you fight despite it.
for real, unalloyed malenia is good, and i hope whoever made the mod knows it lol, like, ive seen a different unfair malenia that made her harder just speeding her up and a bunch of other stuff, but like, its just a modified vanilla fight, unalloyed malenia on the other hand, is made by someone who knows how to make things interesting, for example, she not only has her unused waterfowl alongside her normal one, but she has several other variations, including those that have her rot clones doing it alongside her. as well, taking other elements from stuff associated with her, like the cleanrot holy spears and her own greatrune, and working them into even more attacks. basically instead of bloating the original fight with random effects, it builds on top of what the boss already is
This is the standard that all Elden Ring mods should look to be at, honestly. Even though the categories are completely differently, I'm gonna say this is probably the best gameplay Elden Ring mod to date right now. Nothing else comes even remotely close in quality, even within their own respective categories. Seamless Co-op is like the only thing that gets a hard pass because of how awesome it is in its simplicity. I like the other mods out rn, but the quality, polish, creativity, etc. in unalloyed Malenia is just second to none. My jaw was on the floor watching this the first time. This is peak ER modding right here.
I disagree that all mods should be like this, some people enjoy smaller tweaks, quality of life improvements and simple armor addons. Having bunch of smaller mods will make ones as big as this one pop out even more.@@Amaryryry

Just... well done.
Actually seeing this in action, and having you explain how you're doing things, makes this feat all the more impressive. The tight windows for doing some of those dodges was incredible, especially the Waterfowl moves, I know if I took a crack at this I would be getting my butt kicked for days and days. And yeah, I can confirm the new v1.04 Unalloyed Malenia is harder to nohit after some time fighting her post nohitting v1.03 (Though you have more time to set up your buffs after the Horror sequence)

@BigDBrian All your elden ring boss challenges mainly involve malenia , so I'm afraid to ask this , but I would you love to see you try out the "lore accurate maliketh" mod . The modder basically took the Maliketh this same modder (miquella the unalloyed) made and makes it even more insane- he can hit through s, destined death proc that goes on for 100 seconds and consumes your fp and stamina in addition to health, health debuff also affects stamina and fp and lasts lasts forever, and stacks, and he has extreme knockback on all his attacks (so if you get clipped by his attack once, you will be pushed a km away from the positioning you were trying to create) , and all his senses have max range and he's constantly in "battle ai" mode (oh and his body repels even greatsword two handed attacks).
When she performs her Scarlet Aeonia, there are scarlet puddles that spawn around the arena. They leave flowers behind that spread a rot aura. You can kill them yourself, but she replaces/kills them anyway with the next Aeonias, and they don't damage you directly, just building up rot. I only kill them if they're closeby. At 2:37 I accidentally hit one.
Well that sure solves my problem the reason I downloaded the mod is for a harder fight because I’ve killed malenia over and over again,maybe the mod can make Her a challenge again
does it really make up enough for unalloyed malenia tho with how fast she actually is. Especially in Valkyrie Phase where Brian has said that you can barely fit in rolling l1s and jump l1s
Tested it, does not seem to work during any important move such as waterfowl, aeonia valkyrie buffing, and any flying move, (maybe during any hyper armor, not sure) it's impractical anyway as it would only work twice which is not sustainable as she has so many ultimate attacks.

well mohgs spear is kinda not fast but straight swords are. Maybe you can make it work tho
