We've been obsessing over this game lately. It's the perfect mix of dungeon-crawling and base-building (or decorating) that our relationship needed. If I ever wanted to know what animal crossing would be like if we attached a rogue-like to it then Cult of the Lamb Date Night would be the answer. Turns out it'd be pretty much the same game aside from fleecing your villagers and desecrating the nonbelievers.

cult of the lamb has a co-op update now :D i'd love to see you two handle things as The Lamb and The Goat in multiplayer mode !
They recently added an actual co-op mechanic. So that would play quite nicely into this dynamic.

PS: Have you ever thought about doing an Animal Crossing Date Night? Seems like it would be very on brand for the channel given that there is so much here themed off of it. You could always save it for a milestone since it would be a bit more special than the others.
Animal Crossing would be more like a date season or year lol just because that's the way the game works since it's in real time. Though it would be neat to see a video every few months to see what has been happening on their island.
We've definitely thought if it, I think it would make for a great milestone! :)

Amazing as always! In the spirit in leading a cult and doing questionable things: Undead Horde. It's a isometric rpg esque game where you get to play as a necromancer. You kill creatures to be able to resurrect them, and they become available for recruitment in your hub area.
Also I'm running out of thematic co-op games to recommend so I'm starting to resort to single player games xD.

also i don't think people realize you can queue up stuff to be cooked and the followers will make it themselves when their hungry so you don't just have a time limit when your out crusading

The two of you have it all figured out on how to split up the tasks, the less skilled one just backseating on crusades while taking care of followers, while the other one just slices up a boss like minced meat

This game is super cool. I had a bit of technical issues but the idea is fantastic. Great video!
I love this game so much! The cult base building part is so addicting and fun, even though it's pretty shallow. The actual roguelite part is pretty meh but it's solid enough. I really hope they add to the game since the foundation is so good. I personally give it a 9/10 but critically it's probably a 7/10. Still my 2nd favorite game this year behind Elden Ring.

Hey I just wanted to recommend you guys to check out ULTRAKILL!
You've probably heard of it by now but it's essentially a fast-paced shooter that focuses on style-based combat.
I think you might like it since all enemies have Dark-Souls-like attack patterns and you have to react in order to survive.

I 100 percented this game it was so fun
When playing this game I never sacrificed a guy and would revive them every time one dies of old age. Im not gonna lose a single follower. I will make 10 prisons fro all my dissenters and bring them back to a follower because I love all of them
I did a "good guy" playthrough. I ascended followers and held funerals for them. Only sacrificed the dissenters. Next time I will be a ruthless leader 😡
This game looks amazing but I think I am going to wait for full release, I have a bad habit of playing a game a heck of a lot during Ea and when its fully released I barely touch it.

my gf and me are kinda rolereversed... i have way better micromanagement skills while she loves roguelite games i went to the bath and she sacrificed my favorit cultist because she neededa new weapon upgreade and didnt wantet to wait... but we began playing knucklebone against each other wich is insanely fun
Wish I didn't waste my money of the dlc. Anytime I use those skins on a new member they change to something else when I leave and come back

While I did enjoy this game quite a lot, for me, the lag was terrible. I don't know if it was the device I was using or something else, but the frames and choppiness just ruined it for me.
