The magic keyboard lack of funtion keys could be great!!! a Lock screen one, I kwon the keyboard shortcut to lock it but when you use a shortcut to up the volume you look more like a hacker jaja

I am trying to get a shortcut on my home screen that allows me to open a specific folder in my files. As it is a shared folder I have created I can get it to work using the URL for the share, but that is a messy workaround. Can we just point to a folder and open it
@Julian Thanks, but the options are limited. What I mean is I just want one icon that will open the shared folder/ directory and the widgets only allow for multiple folder selection.

Great tutorial video! when you first introduce the wallpaper shortcut brefly on other shortcut video I was AMAZED and as my self “Why I haven’t think of?” every day I use a new home and lock screen on iPad and iPhone, BUT have you notice that the shortcut zooms the picture?? I use Hubble space telescope pictures for my iPad and when the image is nos very high resolution those looks pixelated or the nebulosas looks cutted!!! I have try to fix this many times but I can’t!!!
It looks unfixable. Being trying without success aswell. Very annoying.
Is it possible to build one weekly, Sunday's, 9:00 to turn off all sounds then back on to 12:05? Rather than trying to remember to slide the side switch to silent? I tried Focus, it does have day and time but does not allow me to see if one call or text, so that I may have the option then to respond.

FOUND A BETTER WORKAROUND for those who dont use focus…
Set and customize 2 wallpapers through ios. One for day one for night…
Then open focus settings and create a “Day Mode” and “Night Mode” focus. Enable all Notifications and pick which wallpaper you would like for each.
then go into shortcuts automation choose time of day and select “set focus” to
this will prevent wallpapers from being cropped wrong and will also prevent your phone from creating new wallpapers everyday.

I am running an app that “says” rain has started or stopped. I want to add rain sound in the background. Any suggestions how I could automate the sound upon a trigger from the app sound or screen display?
Great video. Though wouldn't you have to set the "Toggle" option under Toggle Media Options instead of keeping it as "Turn" in order for the action to work correctly?

Is it possible to add text to an image? In example, your daily Journal Shortcut is it possible to add the current date and time to the image in a specific location on the form automatically?
I have similar shortcut. When it runs the resulting wallpaper is distorted (probably rescaled). I have carefully resized for the targeted device and if I set wallpaper from Photos app directly, they look fine. Any clue to what the wallpaper action in shortcuts is doing?

The automation wallpaper is zoomed in every time. Even yours is zoomed in the video. How can we get our full size wallpaper without zoom?
Hello! I tried the automatic wallpaper short cut. The problem i am facing is that the end product is a very zoomed in wallpaper, which makes it look ugly. Were you facing the same issue?

I built a shortcut that opens Settings > Safari > Clear History and Data because I have noticed Safari runs much smoother if periodically cleared. However, I have to manually select the red secondary verification button "clear history and data" which is fine, but I want the shortcut to recognize that I have selected it, and then automatically return to the homescreen. How do I add that?

Why can't anyone explain how to use shortcuts to automate running something as simple as running the AirPods Pro "ear tip fit test". Its' idiotic that, with all the discussion about shortcuts, simply automating a series of menu selections appears utterly impossible. What good is it? I don't need a shortcut to save me one click, I need a shortcut to save me having to access 4 or 5 layers of menus.
