So true. The common, the “known,” the everyday becomes glossed over, by one and by all. Including photographers. We are human, after all. It does take effort and concentration to see the all-too familiar with fresh eyes, with wonderment, with astonishment. Those areas we’ve never been to before come imbued with those qualities.
