I think I never commented but I cant hold this one back IMO this is currently the best educational ADC guide available for people above d+/m+. I think i can speak for everyone that it would be a christmas miracle if you made part 2. THANK YOU NEON
@@Schneidi_LoL For League you want a monitor that has a refresh rate that matches what you can run League at with your system. I would say 120 HZ, or 240 HZ is ideal. 1080p FHD resolution is cheaper, particularly if you want a high refresh rate. If you have a good PC, and you can afford it a 1440p QHD monitor is really nice in my opinion. 2160p 4K UHD is way overkill, and requires a beefy system to run at optimal frame rates, and is also expensive AF if you want a high refresh rate. LED vs LCD vs IPS vs TN vs VA vs QLED vs OLED is all about person preference and the price class of monitor you're looking for. There exists many great breakdowns online, just search for a few of the types in the same search and you should find something. Personally I am very happy with my WQHD IPS 240Hz display with a response time of 3ms.
Man, lowkey I've been searching for free adc guides few months now and it's prob one of the best. The guide is so damn good detailed that I learned a lot more, lately I don't even comment those guide videos but on this I just need it bro it's perfect. Definitely you should get the nobel prize for being the best teacher. Thanks Neon for teaching us!
Thanks Neon! This Player Attack Move Click is a game changer! I just switched the settings and I can feel the difference. I don't need to click A - Left Click - Right Click all the time. The less is more. Big Up!
I really liked your style and way of explaining things, you also showed good examples with precise and clean way of sharing your thoughts I'd love to see more, maybe even about champ select or what champions to play/learn for different strengths and concepts
Really glad to see you get around to making such a comprehensive guide like this. Love your streams and any content to fully define the fundamentals + give a new perspective on the game is massively helpful.
Heyy Neon! I am right now trying to push for challenger and you helped me a lot with this guide I have been stuck between Master and GM for around 2 years now and you teached me a lot of new things i havent known yet, so thanks!
That’s one of the best educational videos for AD Carry in higher elos there is. Really concise advice, straight to the point. I hope for more content like that, there are many potential topics like item/power spikes or broader game plans. Anyways thanks for this video!
upping dpi from 800 to 1600 really helped me. I can finally play with unlocked camera comfortably. Also kiting is much easier now. Thanks for the video.
The beginning part of not being too focused on winning or losing. but did you do good I think really is the best advice. If your focusing too much on winning or losing your focusing on a score, and not your own faults or mishaps the outcome than the process. It's good to be proud.
in a part 2 can you talk more about dodging/kiting mechanics? like clicking perpendicular is important, but for example almost every thresh above emerald will predict dodges, so what do you think about for this mind game
I hit diamond back in 2023 for the first time and never made it back since, the one setting at 5 minutes made me never miss auto attacks again. THANK YOU!
GOOD VIDEO neon , id love to see more of this guide , going into mid and late game . also i think laneswaping is not very viable in lower elos , as people most of the time will not want to leave their lanes .
39:15 i was hiding in that wall cause the adc was alone and defensive my support was on the first enemies bush playing on the same map side and it worked :) the adc walked a little but it was enough to use lucian E to dash and kill him with my support first game after seeing the video!! new sub lol
I like that you focus on timeless information. All of your tips arent really dependent on whats strong in the meta and will probably be relevant for a long time.
loved this, good work. Would love to see an ADC wage management guide for bot lane. It would be nice too in my opinion if you gave some tips that only apply to ADCs excluding supports too because idk if we can rely on them in soloQ
I still remember the 2020 Schalke miracle run. Just wanted to say you guys gave me so much joy back then. Anyways, helpful guide, good detail, maybe you could talk about later stages of the game (not even mid-game but when to base, how to base properly etc. but mid and late are also welcome)
Man, this video is jam-packed with value. Clear examples, great concepts, well explained, thank you so much, Neon! :) I recently saw Cupic coaching xFSN Saber, and they concluded mages were the best bot laners by far. Any thoughts?
I think having auto attack enabled is probably ideal, because it does give some information; if you are standing in a bush and start automatically attacking minions or something, you know it's warded. It only happens when you are in enemy vision. You can also sometimes determine bushes are unwarned as a result. It means you have to cancel the automatic attacks sometimes, but it's not too big a deal if you are moving frequently.
As a fellow adc player this is gold man. If you can make a video about matchups and how you should play them it would be awesome. Ex. How to play vs draven - soraka as a caitlyn atc.
i would very much be interested in a follow up video that dives deeper into concepts to win the lane (for example the ward in middle bush/when to maybe even ward the 3rd bush)
Thank you ! now can we have another ultimate ADC guide about itemization for ADC ? I always wondered why some adc champions rushing for kraken slayer as their core, while the others rushing for statikk shiv, etc etc ... which item is a must build core for which champion ? and on what kind of situation an item should be bought (matchups, winning-losing situation etc) ? once again, thank you!
I would love a in depth guide to midgame and late game. Currently I win lane a lot, but in midgame I find it hard to choose between farming and fighting
what u said about mentality is so fucking true, i used to get super mad and int and i would play 10x worse, now im calm and the game feels much easier if anyone did or said something bad i used to let it impact me way too much lmao
ADC educacional videos are a niche that lacks content- especially in the long format. It would be great for everyone if you continued this type of videos!
I would say that CPU should be getting you much better frames. I'm currently using the ryzen7800x3d and I've had consistent 244 frames whilst streaming 1080@60fps on twitch, can recommend
4:24 I dont understand this part, you say atk move is impossible but many players use it, even for me its very doable am i missing something or is it just preference ?
I didn't say its impossible, but personally i find it much easier to just click A(1 action) as opposed to A+click (2 actions) when playing champs that reach high levels of attack speed (think jinx or kogmaw)
u can stand inside the bush lvl 1 vs invades and still get full vision behind corner so u dont even show to enemy, also i dont see how toggle target champions only would ever cost u accuracy as that setting forces u to click on enemy, unless u mean in the case where u missclick u walking forward i suppose
i have same settings like author except i dont press A but i press left mouse button and i found out, target champ only doesnt work on it. It always target minions, etc. as well and only way around was really clicking on the champs precisely and i horribly missplayed so many times.. I use it specially on dives without minions, where i know i will be precise and they are hiding behind turret so you cant click them.
I like that you mention avoiding tri vs hook champs level 1, and that spot you use is really nice against naut, but what about a champ like blitz that can hook over the wall? If they ward over the wall it feels like you'd need to flash to avoid dying.
Hey. Thank you for effort. Can you please make such a good guide for mid/late game, because on my low elo hard to finish game and utilize my advantage as adc. And I have something to discuss: you said you want to play safely and predictable, but: You played Corki/Velkoz vs Ashe/Naut. I think it was to risky on Corki, because imagine Ashe didn't get Velkoz's Q or even flash it forward to pressure you. When I saw this moment I was curious why you just didn't hide of Naut Q behind minion. Wave already goes to you this is enough, no? Also when you Ezreal/Rell vs Corki/Naut. You made good trade, but went for all-in and almost lose first blood because of your support misplay. Isn't better to just safely take lvl2 first and keep pressure?
I am GM and got crazy value from this wtf? I literally used all-in from behind tech the very next games I played after watching this and killed opponents XD
Very in-depth video. Next one u should do is about teamfighting and your role as different types of adc IMO. When it comes to macro there is a lot of content about it. But Adc teamfighting and clicking in teamfights - not a lot. ALSO - I've noticed your APM is about 80APM more than mine - is it possible that the DPI changes so much? And when it comes to using attack move - I have a problem with imaging my auto attack range and a + right click helps with that a lot by showing my range (Both on Melee and range champions). IMO, it would be helpful if the league added a helper like in Dota to show your auto range. How do you know your auto range without it, especially in team fights?
Over time you'll get a feeling for each adc and it's auto range, however I actually think I know a way to show your autorange with just a click type auto :) maybe I'll make a video about that ;)
hey bud, i have his settings but i dont have it on A but on left mouse button. If i wanna see range, im holding C for a sec, it shows you stats at the bottom and range as well.
I think I never commented but I cant hold this one back IMO this is currently the best educational ADC guide available for people above d+/m+. I think i can speak for everyone that it would be a christmas miracle if you made part 2. THANK YOU NEON
Didn't expect this much positive feedback, I'll look to start gathering footage for a second one and see how it goes :)
Diamond and master plus?
It’s okay I’ll speak for the bronze+ thank you for this guide
Which monitor do you recommend? I have a really old monitor but don’t know which one I should get, really great video ✌🏻❤️

The same. Not an ADC main, but I do want to have a working understanding of every role.
The video title is wrong. This is not the ultimate adc guide we need, because we need more of these!
i love you you INSTANTLY give no bullshit advice in the start of the video! thank you so much, you are a blessing for the community.
Thanks Neon!

Dude, thank you very much for sharing your knowledge, there is a lot of value in this video, it will definitely help a lot of ADCs out there.
INSANE VID, keep it up, so much work onto this, my respects.
insanely good video, if u get the time could u do a similar one for mid-late game?
@@everythingaboutsoda will be looking into it ~

I've been playing and watching materials about lol since the beginning of this game, and this was one of the best guides I've ever seen
Thank you so much for the guide, so many things to learn. I'll def check out your stream
