I’m a shark lover, so when I saw this in theaters with friends, I kept spilling Shark facts because I love how they actually portrayed the Meg that is basically just a normal shark. For example, Sharks seeing the color yellow triggers then so that’s why it tried eating the tube cage
@@natasa04tsats15 the more unrealistic part for me was how a swarm of sharks appeared and ate the Meg. If a shark smells Shark blood, they flee because to them it means a predator able to kill one of them is a “nope” for them.

You are completely right about Deep Blue Sea being a thing. You got Samuel L Jackson vs Sharks so defo watch that one. Past that you have films like The Shallows, Bait, Sharknado and 47 Meters Down that you could check out. Another great movie reaction though bro love to see it!
I agree but i also wanna include to watch the og of all, the jaws.that scarred for me for life why i have issues swimming in an open water & the Korean movie the host(it ain't shark tho but still lives in an open water)
You’d think after watching so many movies/shows; the jump scares just wouldn’t phase you anymore because you’d expect them and know how to see them coming. Fun Fact - they still and always get you.
Great movie and a great book. Both are fun, even if they're different. If you liked this creature feature another underrated but scary fic is called Rogue. It's a crocodile movie that happens in Australia, and the crazy part is they made a fully functional crocodile animatronic that moved exactly like the real deal.

It took me a couple of times watching this movie before I noticed it but in the first subscene when they blow the hatch you can actually see the Meg who was attacking the submarine go in right as it explodes and you can see it blow up
@@JennyAnn like I said it took me a few times as well LOL it finally caught on to my brain to focus on that scene when Jason Statham's character said that it got blown up in the explosion which is why there was no evidence
My dad and I LOVE shark movies. They're usually really funny, and it's always interesting to see the progression of CGI and effects and everything throughout the years. Some other fun ones I'd recommend are "47 Meters Down" and "47 Meters Down 2: Uncaged." Lots of jumpscares so be wary but they're definitely fun rides!
Love this! I used to be obsessed with sharks as a kid too and still kind of am lol. If you want to watch more shark movies I highly suggest 47 Meters Down or Deep Blue Sea. I hope you do more:)
The amount of times I’ve seen this movie… and the amount of times I’ve seen the office. And I NEVER realized that was freaking DWIGHT SHRUTE until he yelled “oh my god, Dwight!” when he fell off the back of the boat I’m-
One of my favorite movies. Lots of unexpected moments, actual feels for the deaths, and the dog lives! My favorite part was the reveal they killed the wrong shark and there was an even bigger one out there
I still remember watching and enjoying it and rarely getting scared because I am not afraid of shark movies like jaws. The Meg was a real shark btw. I was asking my parents on how big is was realistic and I was shocked on how big it actually was.
I haven't seen this movie since it came out and I forgot how scary it was. It's a great movie. Yes, you should watch Deep Blue Sea because it's good too.
Tbh this film surprised me because I thought it was going be absolutely horrifically bad on purpose and it was actually pretty good and certainly a very enjoyable watch for me 😊
The Meg has always been one of my favourite movies cause of suspense and the intensity level. Plus, I was in my shark loving era and technically still am
Fun fact: If a wale dies, gases from the decomposition process build up inside the body, causing a rise in internal pressure, wich then causes the wale to literally explode.
If your looking for other Shark movies there’s an Australian movie called Bait. Fairly solid. Supermarket gets flooded and their stuck in the shop with a great white.
I will watch literally ANY Jason Statham movie. I like to have little movie marathons where I watch whatever Jason Statham movies I haven't seen yet or ones that are always good on rewatch.
i was the exact same as you as a kid my cousin and i used to eat at or grandparents house for lunch on thuersday and the first thing we used to did everytime when we got there was to look up video of sharks even sharks attacking people ( a bit weird for kids) but we loved it ..

Never scene this movie, only a few clips, but this reaction showed more of the movie and I definitely enjoyed it. I don't even like semi scary thriller movies either.
