I watched your videos on food plot in the woods and wanted to know if you recommend killing the stump and root system. I'm creating a food plot in the woods and a lot of trees I have to take down are poplar. Thanks for any insight you can provide and keep the videos coming, always informative.
Appreciate it. You don’t have to no. Cutting them down to allow more sunlight in is more important then killing the stumps. Now if you have equipment or a way to remove then then by all means do so. But you don’t have to
What are you spraying in you're clover and chicory plots if you get broadleaf weeds? I have a bunch of broadleaf weeds in my clover chicory starting to grow. Should I mow now or is it a bad time to mow in Iowa? It's 90 degrees on average? What can I do to get control of these weeds?
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors have you ever planted screening by only using mechanical tillage to control weeds? What's you're processes for planting the screening with chemicals? Also does buckwheat require fertilizer? I've read it doesn't get much from adding fertilizer.
What's you're favorite thing to plant in fall? My brassicas were rotting this spring and I planted them in July last year? You like grains for brassicas or beets?
@@fueledtohunt2173 depends on lots of factors but show stopper is awesome for brassicas. For a clover blend come back kid is great. And for a blend green machine
Doesn’t take much to make a difference just have to put in some work; the right work 🙌🏼
Hell yeah
I've planted the Overhaul this year also, anxious to see how it does. Thanks for all the information you put out!🌱👍
Awesome let me know how it works for you. 👌✔️

Mowing usually takes care of weeds and grass in over. You can mow early morning late evening with rain coming. If they are really bad I use iMox
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors can you mow the day right after you got a bunch of rain? What kind of crop oil do you use with the imox?
@@fueledtohunt2173 yes you can and I don’t use crop oil. Not needed
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors thanks. I would rather save my money if I don't need it lol.

They probably rotted because you planted in July. What state are you in?
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors central iowa
You only need to
Plant brassicas about 50 days before frost. If you plant earlier then that they get to mature and unpalatable
@@Whitetailobsessionoutdoors which is you're favorite from domain?
