Bonjour Julie, je suis ravie de vous rejoindre sur cette nouvelle chaîne, j’ai levé le pied sur le tricot pour revenir à mes premières amours : le dessin, l’aquarelle, l’huile... Waiting for your next videos. All the best for you. Réjane

Bonjour! Regarding the cerulean blue, I think you just need to mix the paint in the tube. Use a long needle to mix the paint inside the tube then you can pour it out. My Schmincke cobalt paints were also gloopy and shiny until I mixed the paint inside the tube.

Seconding this tip - I think you just have the binder separating rising to the top of the tube.

Thanks to you both, I mixed it with a toothpick and the paint seems normal now :)
I had been purchasing Prussian blue in the meantime but I'll have opportunities to try out this cerulean later!

another nice video, it's interesting to see your preferences concerning the colors (you seem to like to have greens in your palette)

I have never seen such a miniscule palette ever! I had to look it up on Art Toolkit's website (there are non of their products available in my country, but I was pleasantly surprised at the ordering of one to be rather quite affordable - currently on sale for 54 Euro). This pocket palette box is delightful (your alternative suggestion on how to create a DIY palette was a clever idea actually). The magnetic attributes of the pans make it very versatile with the ability to customise your palette workspace. A trick to make liquid pigment stick better when spreading on such a smooth surface, is to lightly sand the bottom inner surface of the pan with fine sandpaper. Labelling the underparts was brilliant. A VERY interesting colour choice for your palette. I was surprised at the end state of the pigment Cerulean Cobalt. I have not used this pigment before, instead I always mixed Cerulean with Cobalt when required. I have not noticed any differences in quality/state regarding the use of Cerulean on it's own compared to other pigments in any other medium. It was weird to see that pigment act as it did - especially considering the brand... Very nice colour swatch pages! Excellent reference when planning ahead for a composition. I had to smile when you added Phtalo Green! I have a similar pigment in my oil range (Schmincke Mussini, Helio Green) - and it is INCREDIBLY highly pigmented. Just a dab of it is enough to fill a massive area in it's beautiful colour. Scratches on the outer surfaces of the box now indicate 'character'! 😀I am looking forward to your works with this splendid little box-of-magic. Have great enjoyment using it and thank you for the upload! 🤟

Thank you for the trick, I didn't know about it! It's going to be difficult for such small pans but I'll definitely keep it in mind for later.
I rarely use that phtalo, but when you need saturation it's good to have it here, you can always mix down but you can't add saturation to the colors you have. I agree about the scratches! Like well worn boots 🤗
