Reading the comments on this is actually incredible. Of all the SNES games I played as a kid, this one stands out in my mind as one of the most memorable. I just played this again for the first time in nearly 30 years and I was reacquainted with A LOT of memories, as well as some profound realizations. The first was how it never occurred to me that this game is basically Mad Max, and it officially would have been had licensing issues panned out the way it could have been. Secondly, which brings me back to the comments I read earlier; I had no idea Ben Watkins' Juno Reactor was the composer for the game, where many years later I would end up becoming a big fan of growing up and feel such a much deeper appreciation for this game as a part of that journey in life. Absolutely unreal.
I was one of those guys that seemed games which were not very famous. This was one of them. For me everything was taken into consideration from gameplay to music. Thai game was one of my favorites at the time.
Ben Watkins also goes by the pseudonym "Juno Reactor", producer of Traci Lords "Control" which the instrumental was featured in the original Mortal Kombat movie from 1995.
Proof European SNES composers are underrated as hell. This was made when the composer was 19-20 years old
Who made this soundtrack? Jason Page?
Ben Watkins aka the guy behind Juno Reactor
they also went on to be a massively popular electronic musician/producer
If this is how an apocalyptic future sounds, bring on the nukes.
