The flames line was improvised. Bc Madeline kept forgetting her lines, you can see how Colonel Mustard was confused when she was saying that. It’s hilarious, I love Clue😂😂😂
God this movie is so brilliantly written you go back and find 10 or 20 jokes you missed or don't remember. I completely forgot the little exchange between Mrs. White and Mrs. Peacock going "How? By cutting his head off I suppose..." "That wasn't called for!"
Madeline Kahn's 'Flames' monologue has got to go down as the best ad-libed lines of all time! She owned those lines, no worry or panic across her face as she forgot her real lines. Delivered smooth as could be. And everyone else struggling to keep it together, as they knew this was a one take kind of moment.
@@katal003 I disagree. She was solo singing only the words "can deny" as in response to the lyrics "nobody can deny." She answered (Oh, I) can deny (that she's a jolly good fellow).
Was it ever shown when Mrs. White took off her outside black jacket? I know at one point she took off her hat and threw it near the fireplace. But what about her black blouse?
"It-it-the-it- Flames... on the side of my face breathing breathl- heathing breaths."
Emotional 😞

"Mine or other women's?" I loved that girl.
Just don't marry her!

"How many husbands have you had?"
"Mine, or other women's?"

I was today years old when I learned she was singing "can deny" because she hates Peacock! 😂😂😂
she was saying nobody can deny

@@jamesruggiero3541 you're reading too deep into it (also she said nobody in the second one)
*breaks the glass*
“PLEASEEE!!!”
😂 something about the way she delivers that (and every other line).
I hope there isn’t a reboot of this. Because knowing the entertainment industry, they’ll have ruined it in SOME WAY. This was a masterpiece.
I never fully heard nor got the “flies are where men are most vulnerable” line until now…
Right😂
My favorite character, so classy, serene, funny, sexy and unexpected
1:10 "...I'm sure it came as a great shock to him when he died." 😂
In cast this big you have precious little time to be memorable and she nailed it.
Not to take away from her as she WAS brilliant, but everyone here was memorable, all were the real pros.
Every thanksgiving I'd watch this on VHS (with all three potential endings) with the cousins. Gotta bring that tradition back. Great cast.
Playing her in a local production, I can only hope for the OG actress's level of done-ness
“idk my license got revoked”
😆🤣🤣😂
That part made me actually burst out laughing lol
0:43 I can’t! We’re doing this play at my school and I just can’t say mustard’s “Right!” Without laughing!
Team Mrs. White!
❤❤love this so much❤❤
Such a fantastic film. And fantastic actors.
Tim Curry & Madelyn Kahn make everything they touche better.
This was great😂
I heart Madeline Kahn
Why does she look like a 40 something Wednesday Addams
Looking pale and tragic.
i love madeline kahns flames monologue 😂😂😂😂
Wadsworth is one sassy sally
Madeline Kahn was phenomenally funny and very much missed😂Mrs White is easily my favourite character in Clue👍🏼
I love her she's one of the best characters in the movie 😭😭 I love this movie
Madeleine Khan was a comedic legend!
"mine or other women's?" lolllll
We didn´t come to a video to read.
