- JediSurvivorGame.com | STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor™ launches on April 28th, 2023.
Playing as a Jedi may look easy, but in Motion Capture Session 386, Mark Hamill pops in to offer actor Cameron Monaghan some advice on his role as Jedi Cal Kestis in STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor. Wise words and questionable training methods from Mark will hopefully give Cameron the edge he needs as he continues his journey from STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order™.
The story of Cal, Merrin, Greez, and Cere continues in STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor, an epic new adventure that will push Cal further than ever as he fights to protect the ones he loves against a galaxy descending into darkness at the height of the Empire’s power.
Picking up five years after the events of STAR WARS Jedi: Fallen Order, STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor is a third person, narrative-driven action-adventure game from Respawn Entertainment, developed in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games. STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor will be available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC. - Ігри
Two Jedi who both played the Joker...
...you gotta accept the coolness in that.
Oh yeah, cool
I was hoping I wasn't the only one to notice that!
Underrated comment
That hadn’t occurred to me before….
Where did Monaghan play the Joker?
Having Mark Hamill on set of anything Jedi related just to be there and give advice and wisdom is something that's going to live in my head forever
i agree
Totally agree
Knowing he supports neo nazis will be in mine forever
Maybe he’s there bc he might be in the game??!!Saying this prior to release so I have no clue

Just made my day😂😂
Force level gold! You won't get much of this from disney, unless it's Mark Hamill or Grogu maybe
Love it❤❤
“They never gave me two lightsabers!”
Maybe so Mark, but at least yours used to properly cut…
Funny thing is, if disney didn’t fuck up the sequels, Luke Could of Had Two Lightsabers, the Green and the Graflex
@@hyper-link7540 True.
Honestly so cool to see Mark and Cameron hang out considering they've both played not only Jedi's, but also the Joker! IIRC Mark was very complimentary of Cameron's work on Gotham! ❤️
Mark Hamill played as the trickster in the Flash series.
I love the “they never game me to lightsabers”

@@brandonlee7400 yeah, but shes talking about his Joker from BTAS and TNBA and other DCAU projects
Actually, Cameron never played as the "Joker" on Gotham. Just a character similar to the joker.
I think this is the closest we will ever get to Cal seeing Luke
Which is such a shame. It'd be an interesting interaction.
Or Luke training his son Ben Skywalker.
I hope this comment ages badly
wouldn’t cal be older than luke?
Ya
I hope Mark realizes how much he means to all of the fans
He does, It's Kathleen that doesn't.
@@buddy6584 I agree, all she cares about is money. Mark realizes the cultural impact that he has made. He was the one that made people want to know more about the world than what our parents or guardians tell us.
he doesn't. He should move on with life. starwars is so much more that 3 movies.
@@Doofens you’re right, Star Wars is way more than movies. It’s really all about merchandising. But Mark Hamill is indeed a very important part of it all and a fantastic human being.
This isn’t the attention you’re looking for. Move along.
@@Doofens Mark isn't motivated or driving by money or fame. He does it because he likes seeing people happy and because he is a sweet guy
Honestly that was one of the most funniest and brilliant commercial for a game that I ever saw. I loved the dynamic between both actors and how passionate they are about their Jedi roles. Great job to Mark Hamill and Cameron Monaghan and the editors for making a wonderful commercial that Star Wars fans would love and appreciate. May the Force be with you, always.
You have to watch the commercial for the videogame of Star Trek. William Shatner and a gorn playing it. (Commercial was good, the game was shit)
@@yannikm.7741oh? There was a game?
Don't know if Cameron or the devs will ever see this, but thank you for a truly fantastic game. There was obviously so much effort, emotion and detail put into this game and that's something that we all needed. You guys can't even imagine how much I (and I'm sure others) appreciate this game.
Let's make sure they see it, then. (likes the post)
We’re getting a third one so let’s hope they keep up the streak

Holy smokes! I've just saw the same UA-cam video!!
Some comments under this did not get the 'joke'.
Also 2 jokers

Always fun seeing Mark in action. On scene or behind the scene. May the force be with him.
0:53 I heard the pause noise, that's some nice attention to detail for a teaser trailer.
I like to believe Mark was actually playing the game
It's great how they both were jedi and the Joker at some point in time, and Mark is giving him the best advice 😢 😮
I didn’t even think of that layer to it, what a coincidence 😂
You win, I was just thinking about that!
Yeah lol
Mark also played the Trickster in both Flash shows and even tells the new Trickster Vader’s famous line, when it turns out they’re related
The guy basically did everything, every move. He deserves so much recognition. It's like acting in Avatar
I wouldn't say he did EVERY move, there must be a stun man, you cant just risk your main star doing a backflip when someone else can.
@@Ivan_Berni yes you're probably right, there was likely a stuntman, although now actors are often trained to do those figures with help of straps
Who? Mark or cameron?
you had me until the Avatar part
@@delen_den Well they did exactly the same thing for Avatar. Like it or not, it was a difficult job
0:40 Fun fact, Luke actually did have two lightsabers that he could use in combat. He had a shoto (short) lightsaber to counter Lumiya's Lightwhip
Yeah but Luke only wants one Lightsader and the short Lightsader for later.
Hamill never acted that out, though.
Yea but in legends Ig
God I love Mark so much, I hope he knows how important he is for modern culture ❤
Cameron is on a roll now, and I'm so glad, I was a fan of his talent for years now
two wonderful actors working on projects in same universes 🙏
It was super cute to see them together. 🥰
Cam is such an amazing actor! I’m a huge fan as well.
He knows otherwise he wouldn’t be there
This is hands down the best Star Wars ad in history. So wholesome, hilarious, and amazing to watch the undeniably best Master and Apprentice chemistry between Mark Hamill and Cameron Monaghan. May the Force be with them, always.
Didn’t expect to see Cal and luke having a sweet master-disciple bond! And it's unexpectedly funny when Luke was jealous that Cal was given *TWO* lightsabers, that moment was pure comedic, hope to see more of their bonding soon.
it's certainly better than that joke of a training Luke did for Rey in the Last Jedi. i mean Luke has given Cal more training in one minute than Rey's been given in a five-hour-long trilogy.
@@vitoldwisniewski perhaps the time difference you brought up with might be correct.
Padawan*
Isn't Cal older than Luke?
@@Panther-Strife4724 yeah actually.
Luke was born around Order 66. Cal was already a Padawan before it happened.
Mark Hamill...Jedi Grand Master...voice actor...cranky acting coach. Love it.
I love how after all these years, no matter what's going on with the SW universe, Mark Hamill never disappoints the fans, lol.
This is so good. I think we need an actual movie with Cameron in it. He does so well in the game and looks like he would be a spectacular Jedi on film too.
Hell yeah,he would.
No.. Disney will destroy it. Leave cal to the games.
Would be the first Star Wars Movie in 18 years that i will actually watch🤷♂

Crazy how he went from “shameless” to this 😂😂
One of the things I like most about actors like Mark Hamill and Cameron Monaghan is that they doesn't take themselves too seriously.
The baseball joke was great hahaha
@@ozaru90 That was funny. Mark Hamill's deadpan response really sold the joke for me.
They've both gotta be in my top 10 favorite Jedi and they're my 2 favorite Jokers
Okay in general these two need to have a show of just their own. Doesn't have to be Star wars related at all but the way they sink together is incredible.

This video was surprisingly heartwarming.
I hope to see Cameron playing his character in live action one day!
I think we’ll definitely see it. Possibly in the Ahsoka series
I saw that he is interested in doing Live Action Star Wars, but wants to focus on the games for now and get them finished first. So there's hope for the future!
@@mikeyparker961 LOL. He’ll be in Star Wars the second they offer him a role.
I love this trailer so much. Cal and Luke are among my all time favorite SW characters and to see them interacting like this… man
Man, Cameron Monaghan was great as Jerome/Jeremiah/Joker on Gotham. And he’s great in these games. He’s such an underrated actor. I really hope we see him in live action Star Wars at some point (and maybe Sam Witwer as Starkiller).
Oh that’s something I’ve wanted to see for quite some time. Maybe we can see Sam Witwer’s Starkiller going up against Cal Kestis. I think that’d be cool to see, especially with both those actors, having done an excellent job with their star wars game-roles
There's no way these two didn't discuss both their time as The Joker. Hamill has expressed before how much of a fan he is of Cameron Monaghan's portrayal on Gotham. And obviously Cameron is a fan of Mark's.
This is Amazing!
Huge respect to Mark for doing this
it’s cool to see him with Cal as well
Mark Hamill is the embodiment of all things Star Wars.
Two fantastic Jokers!!! 🃏 Mark was an inspiration to Cameron. It is so cool to see them together.
This is so funny, love mark's sarcastic remark at the end. " I really don't need you to explain the force to me" 😅😅😅😅

anything star wars related with mark hamill in it is just pure gold....
Now i know why he was good as the joker in gotham. He took coaching from the master.
Cal was given more training from Luke in this behind-the-scenes than Rey was given throughout the entirety of ‘The Last Jedi’.
Yeah sure, let's call that thing she did on ach-tou "Training"
Fun fact the last jedi was actually good and mark hammil liked it. Also mark hammil is pretty woke which is a good thing also Star Wars is a woke leftist franchise. It’s about left leaning people and innocent people fighting against a far right FACIST empire. Lol conservatives are dumb and don’t understand Star Wars.

She trained with Leia more
They have quite a chemistry together. They could play father and son in a comedy movie. I'd totally watch it.
Honestly the final decision for my purchase was after watching this. Playing the PC version with little issues in performance. Game is playable with some adjustments - PC community will help improve over time. Mark Hamill will forever be the hero of my youth. Much love to you Sir.
Mark Hamill does more Jedi training in this one minute trailer than the entire sequel trilogy.

Cal is a great character. A live action would be very welcomed.
After the sequel trilogy, Obi-Wan, Boba Fett and Mandalorian season 3?
No thanks.
Cal needs to stay in a video game
@petah the problem is Kathleen Kennedy. Despite the good writers she has her fingers on everyone. Which is why I’m afraid for the Ahsoka series Dave most likely had nothing control over his series anymore. Her presence will most likely kill such amazing female characters into girl boss Mary sue’s

Keep crying loser
In one sentence you summed up the feelings of over 80% of us
Rey’s character could’ve been one of the more interesting ones if they would’ve developed her right
Sarcastic Voice...no its awesome that Rey can do any Jedi ability the second she needs it, complete realism and logical!!!
Luke barely had any training before he blew up the death Star, quit bitching
Seeing them together is just awesome. Mark and Cameron go beyond just star wars you know. Mark ofcourse voices Joker alot and Cameron actually played as him in the tv show Gotham, and he really hit home with his acting as the Joker. So its quite poetic to see em both at it again👏
Yup. And mark at least got to play earth 3 Trickster who's basically the joker. And the Trickster who is probably the reason he got the joker role. Plus the tricksters final scene in the 90s series inspired the batman forever final scene with ridddle.r
Let's not forget Fire Lord Ozai!
When you realise this hits home more Cameron and mark have mirrored positions both are Jedi for Star Wars both jokers also Cameron Monaghan was in avatar last airbender the animated show where mark hamill was the father lord (fire lord) ozai
Mark: They never gave me two lightsabers 🤣🤣
This is a genius fusion. Two Jedis, two Jokers, when the master becomes the gamer, and the padawan becomes the master!
Of all the game and side series protagonists, Cal is definitely my favorite. They've already got Monaghan doing the mocap, so I'd really like him to show up in a series or movie someday!
