Take your time installing your rings. If you do this step wrong, you'll either break a ring, or crack your skirt. No bueno!

I installed a brand new Malossi 70cc kit - piston seems very tight in cylinder - when I hand turn the crank. Is that normal? I did pre lube the cylinder. Thoughts?

That’s a good sign. Means it has good compression

Thanks bro.. Good info.. Just curious .. I want to do this on my 2009 Zuma.. When lubing up the cylinder and piston.. Should I use standard Yamalub 2 stoke oil or assembly lube oil?? Thanks so much..

They are probably breaking them putting them on the piston.

I have a 1986 Honda Aero50 and it's now starting to smoke light blue or kind of white smoke do I need to replace the rings question mark and can I get just the rings anymore it's a 1986 discontinued

sounds like it could be a few things oil mixture is where I would start

Probably oil leaking past the valve guide s if it's a 4 stroke. 2 strokes if it ain't smoking you got a problem
