I have only been in the hobby since August 2023. I am elderly, impoverished and feeble and had never owned a telescope or camera, before. So far, I have found that the hobby is very expensive, requires a lot of study and practice, but fun.

Your videos have a calming effect, something much appreciated in this very complex hobby. Let me add that to feel safe, one needs to look out for the creatures that walk upright on two legs. After being run off from the parking lot of a local recreational area by what my wife and I believe were drug traffickers (we filed a police report), I’ve pretty much stayed home and limited my astrophotography to images taken from my rear deck. I power my equipment with an extension cord plugged into my house’s electricity rather than using batteries anyway, so my deck is my preferred location. And with a ZWO AM5 mount and ASIAIR Pro, I can do most of the evening from inside my house, something that really helps when it’s cold outside. I’m 74, so the physical conditions make a big difference. Again, yours is a great channel, and I’ve subscribed for over two years. Keep up the good work!

Sorry to hear about your run-in with those hooligans. I'm glad you're doing well, and that you have an astrophotography setup that works best for you!

Good to see a video from you again man! I agree on the one month videos (I do the same), but for gear - I found saving up for the gear that you want is better than incremental which will be more expensive and time consuming in the long run :)

Hey fellow Md astrophotographer. I'd love to one day spend a few hours gathering photons with you. Worst critters I have to worry about in my backyard is the occasional fox or garter snake.😂
    Keep it up.👍🏾👍🏾

Great advice. I made many mistakes not really knowing what I was doing. But I am stable now with the equipment I have.

I absolutely love your videos. I have a huge question for you though. I believe you have the same setup as me so you may be able to help me. I am struggling with guiding really bad. I ve been averaging around 3 or 4 RMS. I have an edge hd 9.25 with .7x reducer on an AM5 mount and a ASI120mm Mini guide camera with an OAG. What are your typical Calibration Step Numbers, Max Dec and RA Duration numbers? Also your Dec and RA aggression settings? I believe if I can narrow these settings I should get better guiding.

Your video's mabey don't ad anything new, like you say. But that's not the point. I think you need to have a click with one making the video and the way they do it. So yes, others tell the moon is a big bol spinning around the eath, but I just like to hear it from you :) So great video's, and sometimes less is more, we will wait for you video's.

I really LOVE your content. But even your older videos from years ago people have suggested to turn your music down. It is still too loud. It is distracting. It's not peaceful or tranquil, like how here you tell us it is at the park while you are imaging ;) I keep thinking my stereo is on or my kids are watching TV in the next room because of the distracting music. But not only is it too loud, the beat of the music is distracting. It's the drum beats. Try to find music without drums. The beat is out of sync with the content audio (your dialogue). You speak very well, and the beats are way off and distracting. And as already stated, way too loud. Even if it were low in volume, the choice of music with the beats is distracting. Best of luck.

Well, you'd be surprised to hear that some people even find rock music to be peaceful and tranquil. You just never know, as there are different personality types out there! :)
For every comment I've read from someone who despises my music choices, I've read three to five comments from people who enjoy it, and if I try to please everyone, then I'll end up pleasing no one (a personal life lesson that I've learned). It's said that your taste in music is an expression of yourself, and this is my expression. Some people won't appreciate it, and that's okay. Everyone has their own opinion, and I can respect that.
I will say that I do remember the suggestions from my Whirlpool Galaxy video from years ago talking about the music volume, and I have lowered the volume since then for subsequent videos. It didn't seem too loud to me when I reviewed them in editing. But if it's still too loud, I'll look into it and lower it further for future videos. Thank you for your constructive criticism.

@@AstroParkAstrophotography Today's release worked out better. It's not that I do not like the music, it is that it doesn't go well when it is played over you speaking. You could lower it when you speak, and then raise it up when you are not speaking. the 2nd thing is when that snare drum or other drums sounds with a quick attack sound comes in. It's just not in sync and distracting when you are speaking. It's your channel so you can do as you please. I am just trying to be honest and want to help you out. You may want to check out some youtube videos that better explains and demonstrates what I am talking about. Wishing you the best.
