The art is pretty good, loved the pets and I can't talk about the game because Avatar is not really my thing, but I would love to hear more of your opinions about games in the future. :)
There is this book, called The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury (AKA Fahrenheit 451 guy), and it has the basic premise of Avatar except I think it did it better. (No relation to The Martian other than being on Mars). It's a whole bunch of short stories in the same universe, and there is the point of view from the Martians and from the humans. More from the point of view of the humans as the story goes on, since it does get pretty dark. Humans as a species aren't portrayed as all bad, it's more of an individual basis, and the Martians are allowed to do both morally dubious and inspiring things. It's pretty evenly balanced. You might like it. There are however, no cat people.

Abilities: Potent & lethal venom that can eliminate anything bigger than them (If the injection is long enough, plus the venom provides paralysis that can wear off after a long amount of time.), they’re able to live with food or water for extreme periods of time, sharp talons that are used to dig(Digging for burrows) and tear into flesh, they have a rattle at the end of their tails to either give off a warning to others or speak secretly to their tribe (Their rattle language is called: Rattling Speech), they have a paralyzing saliva that it gives you a long, yet unknown period of time when bitten, they are able to emit an intense odor or also known as “musk”, SlitherScales are able to swallow their prey whole, including the bones, so it’s extremely normal to see anyone swallow bones alone!
