Hello Ik I’m late but I’m finally getting addicted to wings of fire 😂 I love your art and your videos and I want to start drawing wings of fire so your channel is very helpful to me thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Since there’s a tribe that stays mainly in the sky, I feel like a tribe that doesn’t fly often would be really good to contrast this. So if the storm wings have to land, there is this mainly land faring tribe that they run into. And this tribe could have smaller wings or wings that don’t provide a lot of lift but can still function for gliding.

I can literally see I can just see typhoon sneaking Nyx some gold and silver coins during some heists (because of the need for metal for their bones) and this results in Nyx walking into her tribe for a visit with her golden teeth and everybody thinks she found a really rich gyre-wing partner who lives off on their own.

I like the idea of them having glowing markings! What if the markings sort of look like lightning? You could base the markings off of different types of lightning as well. And what if each dragon has uniquely shaped markings so that not only can they be seen, but they can also be identified in the dark?

I created my own tribe called Stormwings too lol (they’re very different from yours tho, they can just use the static energy around them to create small energy beams around them that look like miniature lightning bolts)

What about them eating and controling storms that’s what I thought of when thinking of storm wings

Yo, im so happy/embarrassed (not in a bad way) I helped kick start the second series. Id think the queen would be in a mountain and it would be animus enchanted which allows the Stormwings to float around instead have constantly flap and glide in a more crowded cave and the queen would be floating only a foot off the throne(prob from some Stormwing Animus long ago). Also there would be a northern faction and a southern faction but they still have the same queen. I'd also say they have the ability to control the weather (some more powerful than others fom genetics).

Welcome back! Suggestion, since they're constantly on the wing, like Albatross, they likely would be very clumsy on land and their legs a bit weaker. Cause I mean, if you've ever seen an Albatross walk, you'll get it 😂 Aerial dances would definitely be a large part of their society that they practice to perfection as dragonets and perhaps they have a ceremony akin to Eagles and Albatross where they dance together and then are mates for life. Similar to that, the Pods possibly would have a centralized location where they meet up every now and then to mingle and share news/stories and find mates. Oh, and for a job position, a navigator would be prized in each pod, they memorize the stars and are in charge of leading/guiding their pods around. And along those lines, there would be a TON of stories centered around the stars, constellations and various other celestial bodies. After all, they practically live among them. There might even be a version of Icarus that they tell dragonets to keep them from flying too high up or too close to the sea on their own. That's all I've got for ideas/suggestions for now, but I look forward to your next video!

SO EXITED FOR THISSS!! I feel like the stormwings wouldn’t really have a set leader but more of a group of them, they would be like the elder storytellers or knights as it would be to tedious to have one leader be super far from the rest of the tribe. So they have like 4 or 5 that share the responsibilities of a group of pods in a certain area. I think the knights would have a sort of ‘coming of age’ ceremony where when they finish their training they need to fly through a thunderstorm and get something from across the storm and make it back. It wouldnt be a harsh storm but for an untrained dragon it would be devastating, which is why they need training to go through storms and it proves they are capable of being a night! I think it would also be cool for them to make blankets with characters from their myths and legends to tell their hatchlings! Like maybe one where it’s the reason why they fly for so long!

I have a really cool idea. Maybe the Queen of the tribe is paralyzed or in some way unable to fly, and she has to be constantly carried around by her pod in one of the hangers that are used for the injured, but more lavish and pretty. Also maybe there can be some dragons who are taught to observe the wildlife to tell if there’s a storm coming. Observing animal behaviors to determine disasters would be something needed for this tribe, because disasters affect land and sea too. Also dragonets would probably be taught how to navigate storms at a young age. Stay close to the pod, look out for electrical currents etc.

Ah no I'm so late I was asleep. I has this idea while watching that maybe some of them get really really big and can carry buildins for more dire situations like a lot of injured or maybe like so some can gather to discuss important matters.

Maybe every once in a while there is a black/dark gray morph (like a black panther) that looks like storm clouds and they are always destined for greatness in some way. Like even if they try to avoid it they will always get caught up in the most important event of their lifetime, whether that's by being the hero, villain, or mentor is unclear. Hence there could be a character who is storm touched (or the condition is named after whatever/whoever decides that sort of thing in their mythology) but they are also a hybrid (and have to land more often), or have a wing disability, or are deaf or something so everyone is confused about what they are supposed to do. Maybe it is bad luck to fly in the open sky during a new moon or an eclipse because there is a cosmic sky battle going on so they have to fly low to the ground or land.

1# Idea for the landing conflict: The main character's pod accidentally flew into a massive hurricane which separated everyone, the main character finds themselves with a broken wing and is unable to fly now. The main character must find their pod, while they do so, they meet new dragons & learn about their own cultures & traditions. There can be a little rule that StormWings can not interact with the other dragons, they see this as a traitorous act & rebelling against the queen's orders. 2# Idea for the landing conflict: The main pod were grounded because all their knights have mysteriously died in mid-air, now without protectors, the main pod needs recruits & volunteers for new knights. The main character takes up the offer, and goes through training for their new knighthood, but while they train they start to uncover what really happened to those knights. 3# Idea for the landing conflict: A different tribe(possibly a rivaling tribe) attacked the main pod, and all their knights have been slaughtered & they had to retreat somewhere on the ground because they cannot travel without their protectors. The main character must find the main pod, become a knight recruit, and must protect their new pod. Abilities Ideas: StormWIngs can (ofc) blast lightning out of their jaws, but this ability can tire them out & have them over-heat from the massive temperatures they're releasing. StormWings can go invisible for a temporary time StormWIngs have a certain type of scales that can release a electrical shock, known as "Lightning Scales", which are hot/powerful enough to cook another dragon. But, similar to firescales, they burn everything they touch, so most dragons kill them before they can hatch. (There can be certain markings on the eggs that determine what abilities the hatchling will have.)

I had a few things that I thought of during this video idea wise that might be cool for your storm wings - society wise I would say having one set leader from each pod that has to meet up with all the leaders probably on the full moon or something to discuss what’s been going on or just to chat while everyone else catches up from other pods - lightning breath kinda like the skrill from how to train your dragon is pretty fun - the markings could move around on their body and move like lightning - conflict could be someone taking their food source that they need and it could be a reason to meet up or something - a character could be someone who was a knight and just appointed leader of the pod and 1st meeting with others would be about conflict he didn’t know about Just a few things I wanted to throw out there but everything sounds amazing just like the tribes from season 1!

I feel like since this tribe barely lands then they would become some kind of folklore to another tribe

I loved the desert dragons! The blue highlights were super awesome and I liked the idea of their role in dragon attraction.

Omg I know you said you don’t want any of them to be evil, but what if Sleetkit had that romance ark you were talking about but the cat that she loved was an evil loner who was like an inside man for his group or something but Sleetkit wouldn’t listen whenever anyone tried to warn her because she was so fed up with no one paying attention to her and she just thinks that everyone is trying to take away the one good thing that’s happened to her. Sorry, that was wayyy longer of a story than I thought lol-

But fr we look so alike but if you’re an older version of me. Which is funny considering I do art too! Especially dragons and other creatures like that

My fan tribe is Furwings I won't get to deep but their queen is Tiger each dragon has its own breed of animal like one of my oc's is named puma a breed of big cat. In some spots their r more fur like paws under bellies and chins and tails and the head spike things. Their jaws will release venom when biting another dragon.they live on Phoenixia. That's all I have I hope u liked learning a bit about my tribe!

ah yes, something I found myself struggling HEAVILY with the other day was the thousand yard stare, mostly because it's an expression animals will rarely ever have so I'm stuck looking at that one picture of a person doing it and it's hard to model proportions correctly on a completely separate creature. on a side note, the way I draw my dragons faces is a blend of Wolves, Horses and Monitor Lizards.

First of all, I absolutely love your art and your videos have been vital to my improvement as an artist. Secondly, I noticed that Kijani (and I assume the rest of her species) have cat-like paws which means they likely can’t write because of the lack of opposable thumbs. So it might be interesting if there is a country/species that does have human like forelimbs which allows them to write. The country’s morals would determine whether they are simply employed or enslaved, or both. If there are multiple dialects, translators could also create some drama if they have ulterior motives. Just because a dragon can’t write doesn’t mean they can’t read their own language, but if they falsely trust another tribe, that could be interesting. I love all things dragons and I am SO intrigued by this prospect and I can’t wait for more! I would totally read this if you write it. Sorry I’m so late to this lol, I only discovered your channel a little while ago.
