You guys are are different levels than me but it's so relatable. Especially the anxiety. Doing all the art, music, coding, ext, ext. myself is brutal too. In my late 40's and can still relate though.
Thanks for sharing. This was very relatable. Who would have thought a person so talkative and friendly has such anxiety. As a UA-camr living in Japan, switching my content to a Japanese learning game, I would love to share my experiences on this channel too someday when ready. Rock on guys 👍
This interview meant a lot to me. Been following your channel for a few weeks now and I've loved all of your videos so far! This interview was very nice and reassuring, as someone who suffers from extreme anxiety and panic attacks as well, it gave me a lot of hope that I can finish my project, and that I can achieve the dreams I wanna achieve.
You’ll be able to figure everything out, even if it feels impossible or like it’ll take forever it’s a combination of many many small steps in the right direction and you’ll be able to achieve anything you set out to accomplish❤
This video inspired my game which has currently 13k wishlists on steam , Legends of Elementia , as a hobbiest solo-game dev and computer science student.😅
These interviews are rad, I love the long form content. FWIW I would happily watch these even if they had less editing (good edits though, not knocking that at all). These interviews in particular I just listen to while I work or walk my dog. Just my 2 cents in case others agree and you can save yourself a bit of extra work. Thank you both and great work!
I feel these guys with no coding background are really brave to try these game dev things. Sometimes, I even think of my prior experience as a coder becoming my psychological barrier because I might have clearer insight about how difficult it would be for me to do my ideal game. 😂 (yeah, I was an Unreal gameplay dev in a company.)
As someone who studied programming at the college level for over 8+ years just to learn I'm terrible at learning it, I know that feel regarding code. Still can't figure it out btw, but need to if I actually want to do game design :\
Thanks so much for having me it was a ton of fun!❤
It was great chatting with you man! Good luck on your game!
It was fun to watch thanks 😊

@@FairliiThat's incredibly kind. Thank you, and same to you! I'm rooting for ya, we all are; can't keep a good dev down.
Great interview! The stuff on burn out and on making your channel more about yourself was very helpful!
Good luck!!!
@@Fairlii Thank you!!
Great chat - The burnout talk in particular was very honest and relatable.

He's a very cool guy :D
Hi. Started listening to your podcast recently.....oddly this exact podcast....but where is your discord?

Good interview
Really enjoy your “non tech” interviews. Seems like the bigger podcasts focus heavily on the industry and don’t relate well to new solo devs. ❤
