@FoxsDumbSeriesMaker Thing is, while Eddie is alt more broad than Peter due to the bodybuilding, he's only about two inches taller. Look at when he tries to extort Peter at Aunt Mays house when they're walking together in Amazing 317, their heights aren't that far off.
This figure looks so damn good. Love how they kept the price in check with his size. This was a long awaited one and glad to have him go against my Azrael Mafex Batman. Good show sir.

I've been having my eye on this one from the moment it was announced, and so happy the finished product is a banger. And hopefully Mafex will also reissue their Knightfall Batman in black and dark grey. But alas, I didn't plunk down and now he's out of stock most everywhere. Hopefully, the local place that hooked me up with the Deadpool movie reissue and blue/yellow Cable can help out again.
I love the look of this Mafex Bane. Bigger than most characters around him, but not hulking big. If he came with a teddy bear and trigger finger hands for potential guns, then this figure would be next to perfect. I have it ordered, so I'm really looking forward to receiving it. The only real issue I see with this figure is how the skin parts are painted. The paint job is amazing, but that means those parts could get chipped and scratched from messing with the figure, revealing the black plastic underneath. Mafex Black Suit Spider-Man had a similar issue, expect that was a white figure painted black. I think it would have been better if Bane's whole upper body was skin colored plastic that still had the nice paint job over it. That way, if he gets scratched up, it wouldn't be too noticeable. Still a great figure, though!
I regret not pre-ordering this figure when I had the chance. I was waiting for reviews but the pre-orders sold out on all of the import sites, and I refuse to buy imports from domestic sites unless they're on sale. Hopefully they reissue him sooner rather than later.
Mayfex did a wonderful job. I would say mafex would be second to Mexico as far as putting out great products. The problem is both companies are a little inconsistent as far as I'm concerned

If we get Killer Croc in Injustice (My favorite DC Villain), I think his moveset should have some Wrestling (It is canon that he was a Circus Wrestler) mixed in with some claws and bites aswell. If it is the fully transformed Killer Croc (With the croc snout and the tail), he can maybe use his tail a little bit. And it would be cool to see a Mafex of him as well.

Dave, not to be a negative Nilly, but I don't like several things about this figure. The orange skin tone, the bulbous shoulders, the tank top looks painted on cheaply... now,,it may feel different in hand, but your reveiw is the 3rd I've seen and I'm just not seein the appeal. But hey, you seem to like it, so I'm stoked for you! You care more about Bane than I do, so I'm just glad you got a figure of your dude, thar you really dig! Sik
Bane doesn't read orange in a lot of lighting, just in Dave's closeup. With natural lighting the figure definitely comes out better. Bane isn't a white dude,
Mafex Collosus should finally be on the horizon now…..
Now that Mafex is willing to make larger and bulkier figures, I'm hoping they take another shot at Venom that's similar to this Bane.
