Another great video, and this 'Lodge Cook It All' is intriguing. My mind goes to family reunions and picnics, church camp cookfires, baking or just camp cooking for two. Yep. Great idea, and your feast looks terrific. Thanks, as always!
Thank you, Okie Jammer. Sure appreciate that. Those would be great times to use the Cook-It-All. Like most things, it has strengths and weaknesses. Lodge did a pretty good job of making a versatile product having only four parts.
this video is very peaceful.
🤗 Aww. Thank you MeMe.
That looks so good. now feeling very hungry.
Another great video. Love the music and the wildlife at the end. Your videos always make us hungry!!
Thank you. 😊 That is an added bonus to making a cooking video... Eating the results.
Pro-Tip: Put Butter/Oil on the fish skin itself before placing on the grill. Or you can use a paper towel soaked in your grill lube of choice on the grill prior to placing the fish on the grill. The flat iron does work though, looked a lil burned on this one.
Thanks for the tips. The skin was burned, the meat was not. I leave the skin on to protect the meat and keep the fats and juices in. It works great. The meat was wonderful and not at all burned when the skin was removed. Some folks eat the skin and scales, I do not.
Great videos. Keep up the good work👍🏻
Thanks, will do!
Very good demo
Thank you so much.
Looks good, mmmm, Salmon. Grilling can a pain when i go for a beer.
😁
Ok now I'm hungry 😕 😋
Everything is perfect and I enjoy your videos. Wish I was your neighbor. lol
🤗 Aww. Thank you. We'd be cooking extra!
Thank you. What about if I wanted to do a dump cake or cobbler or crisp for dessert!
You can do that too.
Talk to me about the triangular shaped stands you used in your fire ring.
They were my dad's and I don't know anything about their origin. They are awesome. Dutch ovens rest on them perfectly.
Mam, does this pan work on stove top
It can be used with a gas stove or a gas burner. According to the product listing, its recommended uses are: "Outdoor cooking, charcoal and wood fire cooking, grilling, and versatile cooking configurations such as griddle, skillet, wok, Dutch oven, and pizza oven."
Wood or plastic utensils, not metal.
All that scraping and scratching 👎 !!
We appreciate your feedback. Yeah, the metal spatula is pretty noisy against the cast iron. We've been using wood spatulas more in our recent videos to help lessen the noise. We especially like the straight wood spatulas - they are super awesome! Here's a link to wood spatulas on Amazon: amzn.to/3s370iM That's our Wobbly Otter affiliate link.
