A lot of the times when foreigners make videos about Bulgaria rarely do I see them visiting my home town of Veliko Tarnovo which was one of the old capitals of the country and maybe I'm a bit bias but I think its very beautiful and worth visiting. It's not that big but there's a decent amount of stuff to see + there's some interesting sights nearby like Tryavna or the Shipka monument. I'd recommend visiting if you're coming here.
My second favorite city after my home city of Varna, it really is the most beautiful and interesting city in the country, even plovdiv can't beat it with it's roman ruins and old town.
Macedonia has less time as a Bulgarian territory than Bulgaria as Ottoman! So... It was just a Greek territory, like our Dobrudja or Trakia before it was overtaken by Bulgaria!

It is located on an island close the the coast, connected by a single bridge to the hotel-filled mainland part of the city and the so-called 'Golden Sands'. The city is actually part of UNESCO's World Heritage. I met a local there that also spoke Polish very fluently. We had a long talk about the state of the world and all. Overall a great experience.
Glad you enjoyed your time in Nesebar. The Old town is actually a peninsula with a natural isthmus connection to the New town. The big resort nearby is 'Sunny beach' The Golden Sands are near Varna in the north

It's all the same everywhere in the this sense - your success depends entirely on you and no government, no laws and whatsoever.
You could say that reality in the Balkans is quite similar with some local variety but if you want to make your life good, you can do it 100x easier here.
I can write so much more, but I'll end here. An appeal to my country folk: if you're Bulgarophobic and don't live here, don't even try to bash what we have. Some of us are here and fighting for what we should have.
Thank you all!

As a bulgarian I can confirm that north Macedonia isn't a real country
Macedonia just appeared because the great powers couldn't decide who should have it
No because Georgi Dimitrov was told to give the territory to Ugoslavia to Stalin have a new friend - Tito
Bulgaria's fault North Macedonia exists
Macedonia has less time as a Bulgarian territory than Bulgaria as Ottoman! So... It was just a Greek territory, like our Dobrudja or Trakia before it was overtaken by Bulgaria!

You forgot about another one of the popular tourist destinations, that being Nessebir: a beautiful ancient city dating Its' history all the way back to the Byzantine era.
The big resort nearby is 'Sunny beach'
The Golden Sands are near Varna in the north
